"Under different circumstances, poop is one of my favorite subjects," she admitted to The Toronto Star. "I guess people are hungry for humor and it really hit a nerve. I get the best feedback — even from many people without kids. I tell the truth and make people laugh. The reason why I wrote it is there are things you want to know they don't tell you in the `bible,' What To Expect When You're Expecting. They tell you the clinical things but not what your friends are talking about on the phone. Not the ugly truth: the poop and the Niagara in my pants (vaginal discharge), cellulite ass, pregnancy mask, water retention..."

May 28, 2004 - Jenny McCarthy was photographed spending an afternoon shopping at trendy Kitson along Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California on May 21st. The actress and her friend were wearing t-shirts inspired by the Archie Comics which is a new clothing line that Kitson is selling.

May 13, 2004 - Star magazine caught up with Jenny McCarthy for a Q&A and asked how she lost over 75 pounds after her pregnancy. "For the first three months, I couldn't lose a pound," she admitted. "The doctor said that hormones make you hold onto your weight. Afterward, I realized what worked was that stupid thing everyone always says: portion control. Jenny likes cheeseburgers and pizza, but I knew if I was going to have that, I better have a salad for lunch. So it was really smart eating, unfortunately."
