January 28, 2001 - Dark Angel
has been nominated for New Series of the Year and Jessica Alba as Actress
of the Year in a New Series and Breakout Star of the Year for the 3rd Annual
TV Guide Awards. The event will be held March 7, 2001 on FOX.

22, 2001 - Jessica Alba was at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills
Sunday. Jessica was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama. The award went
to Sela Ward for Once and Again.
January 17, 2001 - The Enquirer
reports Jessica Alba was a major klutz at an LA sushi bar. Her first try
at eating oysters caused Jessica to sent the oyster flying into another
guest's plate, spashing soy sauce all over another female patron. While
going over to help wipe her victim's dress, Jessica knocked over her beer
(no Enquirer mention that she's underage!). Jessica offered to pay for
dry cleaning for the woman but she declined.
January 15, 2001 - During
his Tea with Ted chat, Ted Casablanca responded to a questioner who wondered
how violent did James Cameron have to get to secure Jessica Alba's Golden
Globe nomination saying, "Darling it's not about fists, it's about cleavage.
Boobs, boobs, boobs. That's what gets the bounce in Hollywood. Particularly
with something as cheesy as the Globes."
January 13, 2001 - Jessica
Alba is featured here in an ebay autographed picture auction. The photo,
item #1403609186, is bid at an enormous $71 and ends January 18th.
January 8, 2001 - The New
York Post is adding fuel to the Weatherly-Alba fire by reporting "Anyone
who doubts their affection should check out the photos in February's Glamour,
which has the pair posed slow-dancing and flirting." Weatherly tells Glamour
of first meeting Alba saying, "When I first met her on set, I thought,
‘Here's this poor little girl.' But, instead, she kicked butt!"
January 8, 2001 - Dark Angel
won favorite new television dramatic series at the 27th Annual People's
Choice Awards Sunday Night. Jessica is shown here accepting the award while
boyfriend Micheal Weatherly looks at her like a piece of meat... Though
Jessica only grabbed Weatherly's arm, no slobbery kiss. Luckily James Cameron
served as a buffer between the two in the audience.
January 5, 2001 - Eyada.com's
Joanna Molloy today reported that Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly were
caught shopping together by photographers but tried to try them by leaving
the store separately. There was a picture of the two in Thursday's Daily
News apparently.
January 4, 2001 - In an Abstracts.net
poll asking what your favorite physical feature of Jessica Alba was, 41.3%
of you said her lips, 32.3% said her rear end, and 26.4% said her bust,
with 557 total votes.
