29, 2002 - MTV News reports celebs such as Donald Trump, Jessica Simpson,
Ja Rule, Dwayne from 'What's Happening!!', and former New York City Mayor
Rudy Giuliani were amongst the celebrities invited by Britney Spears at
last night's Nyla opening in New York City. Read more.

writes "Jessica Simpson was scheduled to perform at UCLA's Drake Stadium
for the Adidas World Cup Party at 5pm on June 22nd. However, according
to disappointed fans who posted at her message board, Jessica's equipment
was loaded back onto the truck without her ever taking the stage after
she was told by KIIS of the poor turnout." Note: You can check out more

promoted, it's pretty sad if she pulled out simply because of poor attendance,
and even worse that she still hasn't offered any apology on her site to
some of the fans that traveled a long distance to see her.
June 19, 2002 - A few
video captures from Jessica Simpson's brief appearance on Entertainment
Tonight on Monday where posted on the singer's official site. Jessica showed
off her huge engagement ring given to her by fiance Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees
when the two were at the Wango Tango concert at the Rose Bowl over the

reports Jessica Simpson is again going to reinvent herself on her next
album. Simpson revealed, "My new record that I'm working on right now,
it's gonna be called 'In This Skin' and it's just about my life--and actually,
I get to write it, which is the first time I've been able to write my own
music, and it's going to be very inspirational." As for the dance based
pop routines that Simpson did despite the fact that she never enjoyed it,
she said, "No more choreographed dancing for me. I'm over it; I don't want

June 18, 2002 - KTLA was
at the giant Wango Tango concert sponsored by KISS-FM, and spoke with Rick
Dees, Jessica Simpson, Aaron Carter and Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter
(Nick doesn't talk), Vanessa Carlton, Tiffany, Trevor from O-Town, and
Michelle Banch. There also are performance clips from Pink and O-Town.

clips from Jessica's unreleased gospel album that folded. Included are
portions from 'Here and Now', 'Part of the Plan', and 'Feed the Fire'.
