August 25, 2002 - Posters on the GroupieCentral.com message boards are questioning the truth surrounding Jessica Simpson and 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey's engagement. Also in the thread are allegations of both stars cheating on each other, that Jessica was thrilled to tell a radio audience that Jeff Timmons wasn't invited to the wedding, and that other 98 Degrees band members hate Jessica. August 19, 2002 - Ruth Ryon of the LA Times reports Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are looking forward to selling their bachelor pads now that they have purchased a honeymoon home on the Westside. Jessica has her 1,600-plus-square-foot condo on the market for $925,000 while her 98 Degrees singing fiance has his up for $989,000. Read more.

August 19, 2002 - The LA Times reports Christina Aguilera, *NSYNC, Usher, Aaron Carter, the Baha Men, Smash Mouth, Jessica Simpson and the A-Teens have all contributed to 'Disneymania,' an album of Disney songs due September 17th from Walt Disney Records. A TV special is being planned for the fall.

August 7, 2002 - TRL reported Tuesday that 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey's solo album is going full steam ahead. Nick has already writing 30 songs and says it will have a bit of a George Michael vibe to it. Including is a title called 'Out of Time' which was co-written by Richard Marx as well as 'Edge of Eternity', based on his upcoming marriage to Jessica Simpson. Meantime his brother Drew Lachey is acting and Justin Jaffre is managing a goth rock band. 98 Degrees should be back with another group album in a couple years. Nick and Jessica preparing for their big wedding day in October.

August 6, 2002 - Jessica Simpson was on Entertainment Tonight Monday to talk about her acting debut on 'That '70s Show' as Kelso's California crush. The show mirror's her personal life as Simpson explained the scene she was just shooting. "I was just shooting a scene with Ashton Kutcher (Michael) in which I was telling him we couldn't do it because I was a virgin. Then I have to get up, pour water all over me and make him very frustrated." As for her opinions on waiting, Simpson advised, "Yes, definitely. I have held on to [my virginity] this long. August 5, 2002 - Several new exclusive behind the scenes photos of Jessica Simpson from her Seventeen Magazine photo shoot last on July 26th at the new Seventeen Studio Spa Salon in Plano Texas have been posted on HairBoutique.com. Jessica was with her hair stylist Ken Paves who said the singer "has very fine hair but there is lots of it." He also mentioned that he has been helping Jessica "grow out her length for the past four years since her first CD when she appeared bleached to within one inch of her life." August 2, 2002 - CDNow.com's Miss Truth reports Ashton Kutcher was virtually ignored when Jessica Simpson and he were at the taping of That '70s Show at Malibu's Paradise Cove Beach Wednesday. Jessica generously posed for photos with a 14-year-old boy and a family on vacation from Japan. "She's even prettier in person than on TV," gushed one female admirer.
