into doing a promo for the sleazy 'Girls Gone Wild' video series. "Jessica
went to a Puma party and the ‘Girls Gone Wild' people sideswiped her,"
said a tipster. "They cut clips to make it look like she was promoting
the videos." The source adds that Simpson "can't do anything about it."

Simpson will star in a segment of the UPN series 'The Twilight Zone' as
a babysitter who discovers the lifelike doll collection belonging to the
child for whom she's caring may be responsible for the disappearance of
previous sitters. The episode airs on April 23rd.
April 12, 2003 - Steve and
Maria of WBLI FM in Long Island spoke with 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey
on Thursday (April 10). Nick talked about his upcoming show in Long Island,
plans for a duet with his wife Jessica Simpson, dealing with their careers
while keeping their marriage strong, and the status of 98 Degrees. He says
the group is "definitely still together" and they're just taking a break
to focus on their own lives. Nick says he's happy to be married and says
it was Jess who broke up with him, and he thinks it was a good idea at

asked Amanda Bynes if she felt good beating out Britney Spears and Jessica
Simpson for the lead in 'What A Girl Wants'. Bynes said, "I don't know
how good that makes me feel because it's like, they're singers. I'm like,
well, I'm the only actress in the bunch, so hopefully I would make it!"
As for why Christina Aguilera's perfectly titled hit wasn't included in
the movie, she says, "Because I asked for it not to be, just because, I
like Christina a lot and she's an amazing talent, but I didn't want that
to be what the movie was about."

contributed her thoughts on performing for the troops in Bosnia during
Thanksgiving 2001, then in Afghanistan in Christmas 2001. Simpson called
the Bosnia performance "a life-changing experience. I will never sing 'God
Bless America' the same way again. I ended every show with that song, and
these men and women soldiers were on their feet, in tears. I had chill-bumps
from head to toe." And on the Afghanistan area aircraft carrier performance,
she says, "I felt like Marilyn Monroe with all these guys surrounding me
as I'm singing and looking out into the ocean."

spoke with Us Weekly about her marriage with 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey.
"Married life is great," she declared. Things are going so well, Jess even
had her manicurist recently write her hubby's first name in black script
over her pink painted left thumbnail. She said afterwards, "I love it!",

Weekly reports Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees
are scheduled to be featured in a new MTV reality show where they'll profile
the couple's marriage. "It's a look into the lives of Jessica and I --
our daily life and our professional life," Lachey said. "It's definitely
an adjustment I'm going to have to make. There's going to have to be a
line drawn -- what we're willing to have the audience see." Jessica added
with a bit more enthusiasm, "It's going to be awesome! People are going
to get to see us as a couple -- how normal we are and how normal we are
not. We're homeymooners, so we're thinking about calling it either 'The
Newlyweds', or 'The Honeymooners'."
