item in Ted Casablanca of E! Online's new column has a blind item talking
about a Svengali relative who has helped her engineer a meteoric rise to
success, referring to both him as 'Robert Slobert' and her as 'Wonder Woman
Wilma'. Casablanca writes, "However, I suspect probs will eventually surface,
due to certain habits Bob has in regard to Wonder W. Particularly when
Wonder's dressing. Make that undressing. W3 doesn't know it, but Bobby
has a way of always making sure he has a bird's-eye view of the youngster's

27, 2004 - Nick Lachey told In Touch magazine he and wife Jessica Simpson
will be spending time together for the holidays. "We'll spend Christmas
at home in LA," the 98 Degrees singer revealed. "We're not going back to
Ohio or Texas with our families. We are going to start our new tradition
and do it at our house." Nick said his Christmas wish was to "just be together."
December 27, 2004 - When
Jessica Simpson performed at a dinner honoring Warner Bros. boss Alan Horn
at the Westin Cengtury Plaza Hotel in West Los Angeles on December 13th,
hubby Nick Lachey was her biggest supporter. "Nick kept smiling and clapping,"

to take the heat off her."

magazine reports that Jessica Simpson has banned hubby Nick Lachey from
visiting her on the set of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
"This movie is her big break and she's hoping it will establish her as
a movie star," a source close to Simpson revealed. "The last thing she
needs now is drama from Nick on the set."
December 20, 2004 - Former
Baptist minister Joe Simpson turned manager of his two daughters Jessica
Simpson and Ashlee Simpson spoke candidly about the pair in an interview
with GQ magazine. He said of his older daughter: "Jessica never tries to
be sexy. She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in
a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those

Simpson tells 'Extra' shape up for 'Dukes of Hazzard', she had to exercise
more than two hours a day, six days a week. "My husband thinks I’m

e-mailed The New York Daily News about their account of a conversation
between what the tipster said was New Line Cinema honcho Bob Shaye lunching
at Chaya with a bunch of Hollywood agents. The supposed coversation wasn't
too kind about the acting abilities of Jessica Simpson or her sister Ashlee
Simpson, was so-so about Mandy Moore, and was more positive about Jennifer
Love Hewitt. A spokesman for New Line denied it was Shaye involved in the

caught up with Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees
who both strongly denied troubles with their marriage after Nick attended
a bachelor party which featured porn star Jessica Jaymes and another girl
performing a lesbian sex show. "I knew what was going on because Nick and
some of his buddies planned the party," Jessica explained. "I've always
totally trusted Nick, and he trusts me. We are very honest in our relationship.
I know that Nick would never hurt me like that. If he was going to do it,
he would never do it in a public place. He's way smarter than that!"

tells In Touch magazine that Nick Lachey has banned his wife Jessica Simpson
from hanging out with her co-star in 'The Dukes of Hazzard', Seann William
Scott, when they're not filming. "Seann's gorgeous, and she has had a schoolgirl's
crush on him for years," the source explained. "Even though it's innocent,
Nick is worried about an on-set romance." But Simpson has already broken
the 98 Degrees singer's rule, going out to dinner with Seann and her other
co-star Johnny Knoxville at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Baton Rouge.

York Post got a response from Jessica Simpson's rep after a report on Gawker.com
prompted more speculation that her marriage to Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees
was on the rocks. "Jessica and Nick arrived separately [to the Rockefeller
Center tree lighting ceremony] because she had to be there all day to rehearse
her performances," the rep insisted. "They left separately because Jessica
had a commitment to appear at an event at MTV and they met up after that
for dinner. As they have said themselves publicly, their marriage is not
'on the rocks,' and the 'reports' of any tension between them are completely
inaccurate. It is appalling that someone would attribute that quote to
Nick and we can assure you that is not something he did or would ever say

of reports of marriage troubles with the couple, Dr. Joyce Brothers likes
the house change. "If you're looking for a fresh start, you're more likely
to find it than if you keep the same arguments going again and again,"
Dr. Brothers remarked.
