16, 2006 - The movie poster featuring 'The Dukes Of Hazzard' star Jessica
Simpson in her Daisy Dukes has sold over one million copies worldwide,
and now Neil Sean of Sky News reports that Simpson plans to buy back the
photography rights to the image, hoping it will achieve cult status like
pictures of Marilyn Monroe.

Norm Clarke of The Las Vegas Review Journal that Jessica Simpson had table
reservations at Tryst (Wynn) on Saturday night, raising speculation she
was in town to see comedian Dane Cook, who was performing at Mandalay Bay.

joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, "Well, it's being
reported Jessica Simpson will star in a a movie version of the TV show
'Baywatch'. I guess after doing 'Dukes of Hazzard', she wanted to show
she had some range and can do other things."

of the National Enquirer reports that Jessica Simpson didn't know what
pieces to buy at a jewelry store, so she picked eight items, one for "each
day of the week."
April 16, 2006 - A source
tells The National Enquirer that Jessica Simpson was scratched badly enough
by her Maltese poodle Daisy to require seven stitches on Sunday in Santa
Fe, New Mexico. "It was a clean gash to the left eye, and there was a bit
of blood," the insider revealed, "but luckily it was quickly fixed. It
was a pure accident when Daisy's claw caught Jessica above the eye" during
some roughhousing. After the 'Employee of the Month' star's visit to the
emergency room, the source added, "Jessica was in good spirts and more
worried about how the scar might affect filming than anything else." Her
spokesman Rob Shuter said Simpson "did have a scratch, but did not have
seven stitches."

Simpson's "friend" tells The National Enquirer that the singer and actress
is wearing herself out with her busy schedule. "She's looking really gaunt
and thin," the source said. "In the past Jessica leaned heavily on her
estranged husband Nick Lachey for support. What Jess desperately needs

reports that Jessica Simpson has landed the role of Pamela Anderson in
the big-screen remake of 'Baywatch'. "Jessica really caught the eye in
'The Dukes of Hazzard' film last summer," a source said. "She was the unanimous

Lachey's post split relationships with Lizzie Arnold and Kristin Cavallari
fizzled fast, ex-wife Jessica Simpson has had a tough time watching her
ex attmpt to find a new love. "Jess sees photos of Nick out with other
women, and it's breaking her heart," a source told Star magazine, adding
that the singer is having second thoughts about ending their three-year
marriage. Meanwhile, the source says that Lachey is finding that "every

says she wants kids. She's thinking about adopting. Today, Britney Spears

the road when those kids find out they're adopted, they're going to have

to the set of Nick Lachey's new video for 'What's Left Of Me' tell DirtyMascot.com
that Nick Lachey is behind "strange" and "forceful" on-set demands. "Everyone
has been instructed not to say that the video is about Jessica [Simpson],"
one revealed, adding, "We can't even say her name, everyone is really on

reports that Jessica Simpson's father Joe is ordering her to put her partying
on hold and concentrate on work. Why? The former pastor is worried that
if Jessica is out and about dating other men and appearing to have too
good of a time, her fans will "think the divorce from her husband means
nothing to her," a family friend revealed. "He doesn't want the divorce
to harm her fan base any more than it may already have. He believes that
Jess' fans want to know she's hurting."

News Network reports that Nick Lachey's new single 'What's Left Of Me'
was recorded the day he received a phone call from his then wife Jessica
Simpson telling him she was ending their marriage. Lachey remarked that
the song was recorded, "The day before Thanksgiving, which was basically
the day that Jessica told me she wanted to get a divorce."
April 9, 2006 - Jessica Simpson
spoke with Billboard magazine about her shift from Columbia, for which
she's recorded since 1999, to Sony BMG sister label Epic Records. The singer
says it was spurred by new Epic president Charlie Walk's move from Columbia.
"I love all my friends and supporters at Columbia. I will miss them as
I start this new relationship," Simpson said. "Charlie Walk was my first
hero at Columbia. He believed in me before I really even got to meet the
rest of the company. I couldn't think of anyone I would trust more than
Charlie to present my new music to the world. Epic is in a new place with
a new leader. It just seems the right place for me as I begin my new journey."

Us Weekly that Nick Lachey is dramatizing the dissolution of his marriage
to Jessica Simpson in the video for his new single, 'What's Left of Me.'
"The video is obviously about him and Jessica," a close source tells the
magazine. MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo will play the role of Simpson in the
promo filmed in a house quite similar to the Calabasas, California home
they shared during the three seasons of 'Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica'.
April 9, 2006 - Nick Lachey's
relationship with Kristin Cavallari is getting serious, a source tells
Star magazine. The 98 Degrees star is "acting like a man in love," the
source revealed. "He's taking the relationship very seriously." The source
added, "He can't stop telling Kristin how much prettier she is than [ex
wife Jessica Simpson}. He says she's a lot more sensible and levl-headed,
and he loves hanging out in her small, messy apartment in Marina del Rey."
Another source added that Nick and the 'Laguna Beach' star didn't "seal
the deal" until the fourth or fifth date, prompting Cavallari to believe
the romance was serious "because he wasn't pushy about getting physical."

Tonight' correspondent Kevin Frazier caught up with 'Employee of the Month'
stars Jessica Simpson, Dax Shepard, and Dane Cook on the set to talk about
kissing scenes in the film. Asked how Jessica was as a kisser, Shepard
responded, "Have you ever kissed a cow?", perhaps referencing her cow sized

attended news conference on Capitol Hill on Thursday (March 16) in Washington,
DC. The singer/actress, who currently serves as the International Youth
Ambassador of Operation Smile, was on the Capitol Hill on behalf of the
organization to meet with lawmakers to raise awareness of its charitable

spokesman Rob Shuter e-mailed the following to Lloyd Grove of The New York
Daily News: "I can confirm that Jessica and her family have anonymously
contributed money to orphanages for several years. It is true that Jessica
is exploring options to further help these children in need." Shuter wouldn't
say if that may or may not include adopting an orphan.
