March 30, 2007 - Mike Walker of the National Enquirer reports that when Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo recently took a flight from New York to Los Angeles, the couple snuggled together in first class and heard the flight attendance cheerily announce: "Today's inflight movie will be 'Employee of the Month'... starring Jessica Simpson." After noticing Nick and Vanessa furiously whispering back and forth, the attendants huddled in the plane's galley for an emergency meeting. Moments later, one announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, due to technical difficulties with our in-flight movie, we will instead be showing 'Bandidas' - starring Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek!"

March 30, 2007 - Star magazine reports John Mayer made a visit to the Wanna Buy a Watch store in West Hollywood on Friday (March 16), where Jessica Simpson's man reportedly bought his and hers vintage Rolex watches. March 11, 2007 - When Jessica Simpson won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at a swag suite at the MTV's Video Music Awards in the fall, the singer asked Chrysler to exchange it for a minivan so she could help out the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo. Chrysler obliged and now Mama Lupita, who runs the orphanage, has received the much needed transportation. "She started to cry for three minutes straight and then said, 'I can't wait to give Jessica a big hug'," a source tells People magazine Mama Lupita said after receiving the delightful news. Backstage after the show, "executives from his [Mayer's] label presented him with two cakes from custom cake designer Sugar Couture, in the shape of the two Grammys he just won," a source close to Mayer told the mag. "It was a big celebration because that was his first night back in New York City since winning the Grammys." Read more.
