Aguilera's mother Shelly Kearns is weighing in on Jessica's comments on
her daughter having the stage closed and her Mickey Mouse charges that
Aguilera was only at the auditions 2 days saying "Cheesy tabloids lies
hurt enough, I don't know if I care to deal with one of our own doing the
same thing, whatever the personal reasons might be. It hurts even more!"
and while she explained the closed stage incident she seemed to think Jess
would never say something like that explaining "[Christina] thinks Jessica
too good a person to be so shallow or insecure or dishonest, so folks,
please don't believe Jessica said these things unless you hear it first
hand too. Again, it's probably
just media trying to twist her quotes to make trouble."

although both of them are nice girls, I know Britney a little better than
Christina and chatted with her more. She's also a very hard worker. She

Britney."

she hopes to have 12-13 songs and will feature more R&B. As we reported

this one to be more mature.

Ted Casablanca reports that Jessica and Nick were having an intimate dinner
at Mexicali on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. Apparently the two snuck out
when patrons recognized them later.

her album going platinum.

picture of Jess is up for auction at eBay. The 8x10 picture (item #400173037)
has a current bid of $10 and ends August 13th.

98 Degrees, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Destiny's Child, Pink, Vitamin

at Summer Music Mania 2000 at the Jacksonville Coliseum in Jacksonville,
Florida, on August 13.
