December 30, 2000 - USA Today's Ken Barnes rated Jessica Simpson's I Think I'm in Love With You as the #4 Worst Song of 2000, saying "Every time it came on the radio, you'd think you were going to hear John Mellencamp's Jack and Diane -- not such a thrill in itself, but when you realized instead it was this soggy slice of teen-pop piffle, built around a J&D sample inexplicably authorized by Mellencamp, the sense of devastation was overpowering."

December 27, 2000 - A psychic named Morris Fonte was on TRL today talking about predictions for the new year. He says that Nick and Jessica will get married and have two kids. Jessica was on with her own prediction saying the Texas Rangers would win the World Series this coming season now that they've signed A-Rod.

December 17, 2000 - Jessica Simpsons' rehearsed for an appearance at TNT networks' "19th Annual Christmas in Washington" concert in honor of President Bill Clinton and the first family in Washington on December 10th. Jessica is seen in the pictures with President Clinton, Marc Anthony, Sara Michelle Geller, and Sharon Corr from the group "The Corrs". The show airs Monday on TNT.

December 17, 2000 - Jessica Simpson introduced her boyfriend's band 98 Degrees at the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York December 14th. Part of the proceeds of the concert went to charities such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

December 6, 2000 - allstar reports Jessica Simpson caught a very early flight to Las Vegas for last night's Billboard Music Awards to get in her workout before the show, reporedly telling her posse, "Did you see how good Britney [Spears] looked at VMAs? December 5, 2000 - Jessica Simpson is revealing details of her new album to Wall of Sound, saying "The album is a little bit R&B, but the first single won't be, because I don't want to shock anyone. It's a great album, and I think that everyone will be able to relate to it. I'll have one or two songs on it that I wrote, too." Jessica also told Wall of Sound her thrill to be nominated for the People's Choice Awards, admitting "When I got the call for being nominated, I was crying. That was the best part of my career. I was screaming, and it felt really good. I can't believe I'm respected like that."

December 3, 2000 - Jessica Simpson is shown arriving to amfAR's third annual Seasons of Hope Gala in New York on November 29, which was an event commemorated World AIDS Day. Jessica also performed at the show.
