Daily News reports that the buzz on Wednesday at Urge, an East Village
gay bar, was that Josh Hartnett was next door at another popular gay hangout,
the Hole -- though Wednesday is straight night at the Hole. "Josh was wearing
a button-down shirt, looking very preppy," says our snitch. "He was there
with the ugly one from the Strokes [Albert Hammond Jr.]."

and dark after 'Black Hawk Down'. I just wanted something that wasn't political,
something light."

Ford was one of them. He's an idol of mine," Josh Hartnett said of starring

was reportedly offered $10 million dollars a movie for three movies over
10 years. Hartnett tells the Toronto Sun that's a lowball guess. "They
offered me the world. It was ridiculous," he says. "But I wanted a role
that stretches my abilities. I'm an actor and I wanted to act. I mean,
I thought about it thoroughly because they kept coming back and kept coming
back. I tried on the tights. I did everything. I talked to Brett Ratner
and I talked to all these guys at Warner Brothers. They're going to make
a good film if they still end up doing it. It just wasn't my bag."

in which he and Josh Hartnett play cops trying to solve a murder while
Ford's character pursues a side career in real estate and Hartnett's in
acting. Does making a buddy movie with an actor 36 years his junior suggest
Ford is ready to pass the baton? "Nonsense" is the message you get from
the ever-intractable Ford. Instead, he is keenly aware that bringing Hartnett
