August 29, 2003 - The Enquirer reports Josh Hartnett recently attended a yogo class in Los Angeles, but left his mat behind midway through. Afterwards, the women began clamoring for the mat, and the instructor decided to auction it off. The bidding went to $450 for the sweat stained treasure, with the money going to charity.

July 16, 2003 - PETA will name actor Josh Hartnett the sexiest male vegetarian alive, reports the Washington Post. On the female side is model Lauren Bush.

July 14, 2003 - Star magazine has a photo of Josh Hartnett with Charlene Bloom, the wife of one of his best friends in Las Vegas last month. Two witnesses described them as "cozy" at the Palms hotel at later at the Ghost Bar. Hartnett's rep insists, "Charlene is the wife of Josh's best friend. There's nothing going on here."

July 1, 2003 - When People magazine starts comparing you to Alfalfa, your days as a heartthrob are just about over. People picked the occasion of disclosing the "25th Hottest Bachelors!" to unveil a "Double Take" with photos of Alfalfa and Josh Hartnett on page 22.  In April 2002, with an assist from stylist Christopher Hopkins, CJ from the Star Tribune dissed Josh over that lack of hair care.
