The New York Post isn't up on *NSYNC since today they're 'breaking news'
that Chris Kirkpatrick has "started a new skater clothing line called Fu
Man Skeeto."

Vibe asked Chyna this month, "Well there's been rumors going around that
you're engaged to someone in *NSYNC, and they're not quite American Gladiators"
Chyna replied, "I'm good friends with Joey Fatone. We went out to dinner
a
couple of times but no, it's not true. We're friends."
February 24, 2001 - The New
York Post's Liz Smith reports Justin Timberlake said of the Elton Eminem
duet "It's just a great publicity stunt" when questioned at the Clive Davis
pre-Grammy party.

upcoming Simpsons appearance was previewed on Access Hollywood.
February 23, 2001 - The New
York Post reports Kathie Lee Gifford commenting on *NSYNC and other boy
band members who greeted her at Clive Davis' mammoth pre-Grammy bash at
the Beverly Hills Hotel Tuesday, "Oh, I'm just an Earth Mother to these
boys. Why, they're all adorable, like my own kids!" Chris Kirkpatrick joked
while her arm was around him, "You know, this will be in all the tabs next
week, that you're robbing the cradle."
February 23, 2001 - Justin
Timberlake commented on his new haircut to Entertainment Tonight saying,
"It's because we're in the studio right now. I figured why not? It's just
growing on me now." Joey also commented on if congratulations were in order
by saying, "I don't know. There are things, you will be the first to know."
February 23, 2001 - When
Craig Kilborn commented "I like the straight one" when speaking of *NSYNC
on the Late Show last night, model Kim Smith replied, "They're all straight!"
Kim also said they were all great guys.
February 22, 2001 - The Scottish
Daily Record reports Britney Spears' record producer Rodney Jerkins has
asked her to sing a duet with Justin Timberlake on her next album. Jerkins
also praised Britney saying, "You didn't hear her saying, 'I need a break,'
She just went into the booth and didn't leave until we finished."
February 22, 2001 - *NSYNC
performed This I Promise You at the Grammy Awards last night in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately no pictures of *NSYNC accepting any awards as they went home
empty handed.
February 22, 2001 - A funny
look at Britney Spears in the year 2032 is running on Warnerbros.com. The
writer and director of the piece, Marc Sedaka told Worldpop that haters
rather than Britney fans will probably be more pleased with the skit which
features boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

reports in its March issue that *NSYNC's first single will hit radio waves
on Tuesday, March 27th, with the album expected to be released in June.
February 21, 2001 - *NSYNC
was on Entertainment Tonight from the Sony Playstation party, where they
have in store appearance tomorrow night. JC revealed for their Grammy performance
the group will "have couples and they're in black and white, and we're
in color."
February 20, 2001 - Access
Hollywood reports *NSYNC will have front row seats at the Grammy awards
along with Madonna, U2, and Elton John [and we presume Britney?].
February 20, 2001 - Justin
was on Access Hollywood talking about why he got the new doo last night
Justin admitted, "I was, like, I'm tired of people talking about my hair
and then every started talking about it more. I don't know. It's hair.
It will grow back."
February 20, 2001 - From
last night's Entertainment Tonight Insider: "Who says diamonds are a girl's
best friend? For Britney, it's roses. The "insider" has learned, boyfriend
Justin Timberlake treated the pop princess like a queen for her 19th birthday.
He decorated this $2,400-a-night suite at the La Quinta resort with 26
dozen roses with an additional ten dozen rose petals spread around the
bedroom. Now that's a happy birthday."

Timberlake is commenting to Rolling Stone about the closeness of their
upcoming album release to their Spring/Summer tour saying, "People will
be able to pick up the album and see that immediately live. That's something
we wanted to do, try something different, to have the tour and the album
around the same time. It's kind of like you don't really give the music
a chance to sink into their heads before they're already watching it on

Bye Hair BYE BYE! Rumors that Justin has shaved his head are true as
these dramatic vidcaps reveal. In a pre Grammy interview, the former curled
hair singer said he "had a chuckle" when he heard that Eminem was going
to sing with Elton John, but pointed out it was similar to *NSYNC's Super
Bowl performance with Aerosmith.
February 18, 2001 - Justin
Timberlake talked to Rolling Stone about the new album saying, "I didn't
think it was going to be this crazy, something keeps happening every time
we put an album together that this vibe kinda kicks in. It's so intense

Hall was talking about his new hairstyle on the Tonight Show Friday saying,
"You know, but it's kind of cool. You know, I like it. I try to keep up
on the trends in the black community, and the lead singer of *NSYNC has
his hair braided." Jay responded, "Yeah. You know, I tell ya." Arsenio
replied, "Since *NSYNC did it, all the black guys are now looking this
way. You know, I'm right behind the curve, you know?"

Zac Hanson taking a shot at his boy-band peers saying, "Backstreet Boys
and *NSYNC are, like, 40. First of all, they're not boys. Secondly, they're
not bands. They should call themselves 'man groups.'"

York Daily News reports *NSYNC have RSVP'd for Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy
Awards party in Beverly Hills next week.

defeated the Backstreet Boys in Celebrity Death Match which debuted on
Sunday.
February 13, 2001 - Billboard.com
reports Carson Daly commenting on Justin Timberlake as both took part in
Sunday's Celebrity Basketball Game at the Washington Convention Center
during the NBA All-Star weekend. Carson said, "Justin's got some game.
He can handle the ball really well. He's a little guy, though, so
he should stay out of the kitchen."

abstracts.net poll asking visitors if they thought Justin verbally abused
15 year old Danielle McGuire as she alleged, a vast majority of 85.4% said
no, while 14.6% said yes. A total of 2920 votes were cast.

reports Eminem will indeed attend the Grammy awards later this month. Em

February 7, 2001 - What looked
like a hoax yesterday appears to be true as *NSYNC concert dates have been
announced
on SFX.com. The first spot on the tour is at Miami's Pro Player Stadium
on May 12th.
February 7, 2001 - *NSYNC's
Chris Kirkpatrick was on TRL today by telephone telling viewers the new
album will be finished before the tour [which presumably starts May 12th].
Chris also said their next single will either be off the new album or NSA
[duh!].

Billy Masters is dishing dirt on boy bands this week with the focus on
Timberwoman. Apparently Michael Jackson has a huge crush on Justin and

is reporting Britney Spears is getting the blame for putting *NSYNC on
the verge of breakup.
February 6, 2001 - This story
is from back in December but worth reporting, as Megastar quotes the Backstreet
Boys saying *NSYNC wouldn't exist if it weren't for them. Kevin also talks
about how Chris Kirkpatrick used to wait on their table when he worked
at Outback Steakhouse revealing, "He used to wait on us and say how much

Boy's Nick Carter took a shot at *NSYNC when they talked to MTV's John
Norris about competing in the Grammys against *NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye for
best Pop Performance - Group saying, "You're competing with the same producers.
When they write for 'NSYNC, their stuff is a little more dance-oriented.
It's a little less vocally challenging, I guess you could say. It's just

(or at least Lance Bass') highly publicized trip to the Sundance Film Festival
may be haunting them with today's New York Post blind item which asks,
"Which studly boy-band member hooked up with a hunky publicist at the party
William Morris threw at the Synergy Spa at Sundance? After several drinks,
the pop star and his pal went into one of the rooms and had a quickie while
his bodyguard watched the door - denying entry to the person staying there.
Since then, the singer has been calling the guy trying to arrange other
trysts, to no avail."

Weekly surveyed Grammy voters for an indication of who'd win Song of the

February 1, 2001 - Was Britney
conspiring to cheat on Justin? USA Today's Jeannie Williams reports Spears
seemed to be taken with the love interest in her latest music video partner,
model Brice Durance, 23, of Paris. The two took part in heavy kissing during
filming and Britney later questioned the producer of the Don't Let Me Be
the Last to Know video, David Hofflich, about his dating status. Spears
was upset to learn Durance was engaged. The video debuts on Valentine's
Day.
February 1, 2001 - CDNow
reports Aerosmith brought their young relatives and kids backstage to meet
Britney and *NSYNC at the Super Bowl and accused the rockers of going soft.
February 1, 2001 - The New
York Post reports 75 year old Marvin Traub's party at his mansion during
Sundance got celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Danny Glover to
show up. Unfortunately, his house was trashed by revelers and Traub's daughter
kicked everybody out at 3 am. The house was left with soiled carpets, a
hole in the wall, and missing pool table balls.
