Access Hollywood will be hanging out with Britney Spears and *NSYNC this
weekend and they will be reporting on them Monday as they will all be on
hand at the Family Celebration to honor Bill Clinton this weekend.
March 29, 2001 - As was revealed
earlier this week in our message boards, The Star reports Britney Spears
is prepared to dump Justin and has shunned his offers of marriage. A friend
tells the tabloid, "Brit won't make the commitment. She has told Justin
that she doesn't want to mess up a good thing by getting married."
March 29, 2001 - The New
York Daily News reports *NSYNC is scheduled to perform along with Faith
Hill, Rod Stewart, and Marc Anthony at the Family Celebration, where former
President Bill Clinton will pick up a Spirit of Life Award, which salutes
him as an advocate for children.
March 29, 2001 - Lou Pearlman
is interviewed in the Toronto Sun viewable on Allpop. Pearlman talked about
the allegations of double-dipping as both producer and manager and his
justification due to investing millions into the two bands. Read more.

March 28, 2001 - Britney
told Carson on TRL Tuesday that she thought the *NSYNC remake of Janet
Jackson's That's the Way Love Goes was "real hot" and she admitted it was
one of her favorite Janet Jackson songs.

Timberlake. MTV's Spring Break this morning and they had a show where Destiny's
Child was counting down their top 10 favorite spring break performances,
*NSYNC's Tearin Up My Heart on Spring Break Fashionable Loud in 1999 was
their #1 pick.
March 25, 2001 - To add to
the overcommercialization of *NSYNC, the guys now have introduced released
juice-filled fruit snacks, an official product from Zeeks Inc and Winterland
in association with Brach's and Hot Hits. The snacks come in five fruity
flavors: lemon, strawberry, fruit punch, orange and grape and are priced
around $3. Each piece of fat-free candy, has one of the guys' names on
it.

is commenting on comparisons to their rivals saying, "No, we're not a stadium
group. I think music fans have unreal expectations of the music business
now. Right now, we have basically three phenomena going on: Backstreet
Boys, *NSYNC, and Britney Spears. It's very rare you see this in your lifetime,
let alone see three of them at the same time that can go out and sell the
type of records that they do, and the type of tours that they can put together,

March 21, 2001 - *NSYNC were
at the Planet Hollywood in New York City's Times Square on Sunday to debut
a new handprint shirt with proceeds going to their Challenge For The Children

March 21, 2001 - *NSYNC inducted
Michael Jackson at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame event Monday night
prompting Gary from the Howard Stern show who was at the event to say was
very gay. Gary added that Jackson looked very odd and he had something
black on the end of his nose that didn't look right.
March 20, 2001 - In an abstracts.net
poll asking if *NSYNC's next full album be their last, only 15% said yes
while 85% said no, with 2051 total votes cast.
March 18, 2001 - The New
York Daily News reports *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick predicting a dire future
for 'boy bands.' "I see the vocal groups going away. They've been hot a
little too long," he says. "I see real bands that really play instruments
being the hot new thing. I'm not saying that *NSYNC is washed up. We actually
do know how to play instruments." Chris says the new album out in June
will include the guys using intruments.
March 18, 2001 - An *NSYNC

Bowl XXXV football autographed by *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Aerosmith, and

March 17, 2001 - TRL revealed
Friday, to nobody's surprise, that *NSYNC's video of the Janet Jackson
hit That's The Way Love Goes will be eligible for voting on the show for
the next two weeks.

with *NSYNC that is several months old but I haven't linked to it before.
You need to sign up to view it and watch a Pringles ad and you'll get bombarded
with *NSYNC merchandise ads (which are 20% off right now), and 8nsync trivia,

March 12, 2001 - Sugar Ray's
Mark McGrath was given a serious diss by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake
Tuesday night at Guy's in Los Angeles, according to the New York Post.
When McGrath attempted to say hello to the two, a bodyguard stopped McGrath
and the two exchanged words. Spies at the club say Britney witnessed the
incident but did nothing.

meet & greets as they've been formatted before won't exist.
March 9, 2001 - Megastar
reports Britney and Justin left a LA nightclub after a blonde tried to
seduce Justin. A witness revealed, "Britney told her, 'Beat it, honey.
I know what you're trying and it's not working.' But the girl wasn't afraid.
She told her she was too young for the bar's 21 age-limit and threatened

reports Lance Bass threatened to pull out of On the L if Kevin Richardson
were cast. Lance is the star and producer of the film.
March 7, 2001 - Just as Chris
Kirkpatrick predicted, his and Kathie Lee's moment together at Clive Davis'
pre-Grammy party are in both the Star and Enquirer. A source revealed,
"Kathie Lee was all over him. She had her arm around him for a long time,
stroking his hair." Kathie was later heard saying, "That Chris is so cute.
I'd like to wrap him up and take him home with me!"
