September 30, 2001 - The
entire track for On The Line by the On The Line Allstars (Lance Bass, Joey
Fatone, Mandy Moore and True Vibe) is on the Digital Island website at
28, 56, and 100 kbps speeds. You can check them all out here,

29, 2001 - Jay Leno joked during his monologue on Friday, "Britney Spears
and Justin Timberlake's vacation home was broken into. Thieves made off
with $5,000 in possessions. The good news is police caught the thieves,
but among the items stolen -- a home video with 'personal' footage on it.
Well, since Britney claims to be a virgin, it's just two hours of her going,
'No, I said no. No.'"
September 29, 2001 - The
Ananda Lewis Show's official website sent out word that the rescheduled
air date for the members of *NSYNC and their families on the show is set

September 28, 2001 - The
tracks on the soundtrack to the Lance Bass and Joey Fatone starring movie
'On The Line' were announced and include performances by *NSYNC, Britney

Sun has mugshots of four of the suspected burglars at the couple's rented
home in Destin, Florida. There is fear that even though the tape containing
"personal moments" between Britney and Justin was recovered, there may
have been copies made which could be sold to the highest bidder or put

Globe reports Justin Timberlake paid $45 grand for a pair of courtside
season tickets to the new basketball team in Memphis that was previously
in Vancouver, the Grizzlies.
September 26, 2001 - AP reports
police arrested four teenage boys Saturday night on burglary charges and
grand theft in Destin, Florida, after they broke into a rental home of
Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Read more.

MTV Europe Music Awards have been announced where *NSYNC will battle Britney
Spears and Atomic Kitten for Best Pop act. The show that will be held November

pop community is well represented in the What's Going On remake that benefits
AIDS research and relief to victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Included on the song are NSYNC, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, the

September 22, 2001 - Indianapolis
Star movie critic Bonnie Britton had some pretty good things to say about
the Lance Bass starring film On The Line giving the flick 2 1/2 stars in
her review. Britton says "Bass is sweet and perfectly suited to the role

September 21, 2001 - According
to Worldpop, Britney Spears and NSYNC's Justin Timberlake have pulled out
of a Michael Jackson's charity CD in aid of victims of the US terrorist
attacks on September 11. Destiny's Child and Nick Carter of the Backstreet
Boys still are set to appear on the CD.
September 21, 2001 - The
Star reports *NSYNC's Lance Bass is heating it up with 31 year old Buffy
the Vampire Slayer movie star Kristy Swanson. The tab reports Swanson has
dumped Alan Thicke as she's "tired of dating older men who lack the stamina
to keep up with her" according to an insider.
September 20, 2001 - Foxnews.com's
Roger Friedman is reporting a slew of stars, possibly including *NSYNC
and Britney Spears, have signed on or are close to signing on to record
a remake of Nile Rogers penned hit, We Are Family. The plans are a Saturday
recording of the song with one group of stars in New York. Money raised
from the effort will go to World Trade Center victims and their families.

someone posted that *NSYNC's Ananda Lewis Show was on. It's possible it
was on in some markets, but most ran a show related to the terrorist acts

Timberlake tells the Autumn/Winter issue of Arena Homme Plus he's not nervous
about fan reactions to the pictures in the mag saying he trusted the photographer

September 18, 2001 - Early
sales results in from HitsDailyDouble.com indicate that Mariah Carey's
debut week for Glitter will be a mega-disappointment as she currently is
showing 77,529 album sales with 65% of the figures in. The figure puts
her at #7 in the countdown with Jay-Z trouncing everyone in a weak, tragedy
filled week with 299,853 units sold. NSYNC looks much weaker with only
42,832 sales to this point, putting them at #19.
September 18, 2001 - Michael
Jackson is planning to get top artists together to record a new song that
will raise $50 million for the survivors of the terrorist attacks in the
United States last Tuesday. Destiny's Child and the Backstreet Boys’ Nick
Carter, Britney Spears, NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake and Mya are already slated

*NSYNC's performance and 4 awards at the Video Music Awards for Pop are
helping album sales this week as for the first time since the debut week,
the band is set to rise up the charts for the week. With a lackluster week
for album sales in general, *NSYNC looks set to have around 85,000 in album
sales and is currently in the #12 position, up from #15 last week, according
to HitsDailyDouble.com. System of A Down appears poised to take the #1
spot.

Christopher John Farley reviewed the MTV Video Music Awards and gave a
huge thumbs down on the performances by *NSYNC and Britney Spears. Read

Roger Friedman talked to Academy Award winning actress Patricia Neal on
the way to the Michael Jackson concert Friday where she had trouble getting
past the press because of *NSYNC arriving when she did. The grandmother
of 20-somthing Sophie Dahl, who's dating the much older Mick Jagger, responded
when asked if she's heard of the group, "No, what are they?"

York Post talked to fans attending the Michael Jackson concert last night
in New York, including Chris Kirkpatrick who said of he and his *NSYNC
partners, "You're going to see five fans on stage pretending to know what

was on with Howard Stern today and when Aaron Lewis was asked what he thinks
about teen pop acts like *NSYNC and Britney Spears, Aaron said he doesn't
think that they should get the same recognition as real bands because they
don't even write their own songs or play their own instruments. Another
band member said it was more of an honor to be on Howard's show than to
be on the VMAs.

helped catapult her album sales 800% for the week to land at #1, barely

sales erosion as Celebrity sales dropped another 26% for the week with
the group clearing 94,208 albums, dropping it out of the top 10.

gave an autographed copy of Celebrity to the exec's kids.

Rav Singh in his weekly News of the World column gloats, "One of
my sad rivals has just announced pop princess Britney Spears is engaged
to lover Justin Timberlake. I told you the happy news over a year ago!"
September 1, 2001 - *NSYNC's
appearance on The Ananda Lewis Show will be on September 14th. The syndicated

September 1, 2001 - Peoplenews
is reporting Britney's reps aren't sure whether reports her and Justin
are engaged as the British rep admitted, "As far as we are aware, these
stories are not true. Britney has always said in interviews that she is
too young to get married. She and Justin have bought each other matching
Cartier rings, but that doesn't mean they are engaged." The American rep
said in a 'sounding guilty' huff, "I have no comment at this time, I have

is reporting that the tabloid reports run by the Sun, the Mirror, and the
Evening Standard of London and The Star of the US are 'rubbish' according
to a spokeswoman for Jive Records.
September 1, 2001 - Michael
D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reviewed the Backstreet Boys concert
in Houston earlier this week and took a shot at *NSYNC saying, "*NSYNC
had better toys and a bigger stage, but a lack of inter-band chemistry
is its downfall. BSB also suffered from this in the past, but McLean's
