him for his new record, a rock song . . . It was funny because the letter

the sh** and, yeah, we'll see where that goes." Read more.

April 27, 2002 - Bill Ellis
of GoMemphis.com reviewed *NSYNC's show at The Pyramid on Thursday before
a crowd of about 16,000. Ellis said, "Having the rowdier P. Diddy (a.k.a.
Puff Daddy; a.k.a. Sean 'Puffy' Combs) open the concert seemed an odd move
for the world's biggest boy band - unless said band is ready for adulthood,
which they are, and not just because 'NSync members have been spotted 'NEbriated.
The double bill gamble paid off, however. P. Diddy had the largely young,
largely female audience waving their hands in the air like they just didn't
care." Read more.

humping! How are they not?" As for her personal feelings for Timberlake,
she said, "I used to have the hugest attraction to him when I was little!
I thought he was gorgeous. But you take another look and yes, he's a good-looking
man, but I think it's the whole idea that he's in a boy band and he sings.
If you saw him and he wasn't in a boy band, you would just think whatever,
you know?" Read more.

her feelings on keeping this more intimate than her previous tour, which
saw her performing a three-song set opening for *NSYNC. "Big productions,
to me, are great — like, I love going to Vegas and seeing shows — but I
think that sometimes it's distracting, especially when you are there to
listen to the music," Pink said. "I remember being on tour with 'NSYNC,
and I don't know if this is appropriate, but it was something like a $5
million stage, and to me that was just like, 'Man, I will take a box out
there and stand on it with a microphone. I ain't spending that much money.'
I love the shows that are in dingy little dark clubs, smoky, no production
whatsoever." Read more.

sitting on my porch and I look back at what we did, if we touched one person
and helped change their life ... I think that's what we want to do. Change
the world through music. If we helped them in a tough time, if what we
did touched someone and made them feel special, then that's good enough
for me and that's one of the most rewarding things I think you can possibly
have. It's better than any Grammy or anything you can get."

to the road to promote the same album as last summer, thereby squeezing
every last nickel from Suzie's college fund." As for what the guys should
do next, Ruggieri opined, " Perhaps an extended break should be considered
after this tour wraps on Sunday. The teen fans can grow up and expand their
musical tastes, allowing *NSYNC to reevaluate. But now seems the perfect
time to retire this current repertoire. End it on a high note, guys, and
be proud." Read more.

on Sunday at the MCI Center, he took her along to bring her perspective

April 24, 2002 - Scott Mervis
of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette critiqued *NSYNC's show at the Mellon Arena
last night and didn't have much good to say about the scaled back and more
intimate show. Mervis said, "The get-to-know-the-group part was fairly
intolerable with the boys trading off bad jokes and Clarion native Kirkpatrick,
the one with the goat beard, freestyling on fairy tales like he had indeed
just come from the parking lot of a Grateful Dead show." Mervis also predicted
solo days for the group's pair of frontmen Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez:
"The better Timberlake and Chasez sound and the more tired the five-piece
choreography appears, the more they look like solo artists, and here's
guessing that day comes sooner rather than later." Read more.

But just when you thought their taste was good, if obvious, they covered
Christopher Cross' 'Sailing.' Yecch!" Read more.

Christina Aguilera grab their crotch while performing. Scott spoke with
choreographer Dan Karaty, who employs the move in *NSYNC's tours. Karaty
said, "It's really not meant as a sexual gesture. It's more of a power
move picked up by Michael jackson for his Thriller routine and later by
Madonna." Still, not everyone is sold on the move, including Britney Spears:
"She doesn't think it fits her girly style."
April 21, 2002 - Pagesix.com's

different from that is I'm your mother, your daughter, your sister, your
friend." Read

I like acting, but I also want to direct."
April 20, 2002 - Katrillion
spoke with JC Chasez of *NSYNC about his Mickey Mouse Club friend Tony
