A insider said, "[Cameron] keeps her fingers crossed whenever she hears about him and another woman. She wants to believe she can trust him." But can he resist the charms of his longtime lover Britney? "She's almost 10 years older than him and wants to settle down in a steady relationship," a source close to Timberlake revealed. "Justin's still ready to go, flirting with lots of girls and no doubt looking back at the great sex he had with Britney."

March 31, 2004 - Janet Jackson told 'Access Hollywood' in an interview to be broadcast Tuesday, that she was "straight up asked not to go" on the Grammy Awards show after her Super Bowl breast flash. CBS has said Jackson would have been welcome if she apologized like her partner in the stune, Justin Timberlake, but she declined. March 31, 2004 - Allison Samuels of Newsweek is reporting that *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake may be losing his credibility in the black community after his reaction to the uproar caused at the Super Bowl when he exposed the breast of Janet Jackson. "It's just maddening because he was as black as black could be until Super Bowl night," a close friend of Jackson said. "In his mind, he was as black as 50 Cent because he knew the words to a Marvin Gaye song. He rolled in both worlds, living it up. March 31, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com reports Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC have recorded a duet for Quincy Jones's next album. The album, which is still being recorded and tentatively titled 'MoPoFo', will feature remixes of some Jones songs by the likes of Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent. Fox News claims that Janet and Justin began working on the duet before their "wardrobe malfunction" scandal during the Super Bowl. March 31, 2004 - A source tells Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake plans to spoof the infamous Janet Jackson breast flashing Super Bowl incident in the upcoming film 'Played'. The singer appears as both himself and Jackson in the send-up. "It's a cameo in which he makes a reference to the whole thing," the insider revealed. March 29, 2004 - News of the World spoke with 21-year-old Tom Witchey who says Britney Spears chatted him up on a blind date—and then took him to her room at the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel in Santa Barbara. "I followed her back into her bedroom. She was in a see-through tank top and pyjama bottoms. We started kissing and our clothes just came off at the same time," Witchey revealed. "I was taken aback by how spontaneous she was. She was definitely in charge but it worked out for both of us. I like to pleasure a girl and she definitely wanted that. But the sex wasn't anything kinky—no craziness. Just very slow and gentle in the beginning but, once it heated up, it got more intense." March 29, 2004 - Peter Robinson of The Guardian reviewed JC Chasez's debut solo effort 'Schizophrenic', claiming despite the sales shortfall, the *NSYNC star "has still come up trumps, creatively and artistically at least, with a dark and unusually adventurous collection of 1980s electro and Prince-type funk." He added, "The great thing about JC Chasez isn't his singing voice but that - rare in a modern popstar, almost non-existent in an American one - he has a voice, and seems happy to use it." March 29, 2004 - NSYNC star JC Chasez revealed to 'Top of the Pops' Friday night that before his performance on the show, he'd ate a load Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast. "I'm sure we will," Fatone remarked at New York hotspot Marquee. "It's odd to say, you may not believe it, but yeah, we are. Everybody's doing their own thing right now JC has his CD, (Justin Timberlake is) shooting a movie but we do want to get together." March 25, 2004 - The Los Angeles Times reports *NSYNC star Chris Kirkpatrick is brainstorming ways to bring together friends in the music industry to do something on the behalf of Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry after meeting the Massachusetts senator in December. Kirkpatrick liked what Kerry had to say, and the fact that he was a Vietnam veteran. "Everybody's doing their side projects here and there, so once that dies down, we'll start picking back up again," he commented. In the meantime, is he plotting his own solo work? "I've thought about doing a comedy album. That would be fun," he responded.

March 22, 2004 - WENN reports JC Chasez has told how he got big bucks as a teen modeling his foot. "I was a foot model when I was 13. This guy saw me on the beach one day, and he asked to take a picture of my foot," the *NSYNC star said. "I was like, 'You're weird man.' He was like, 'Dude, you have a clean-looking, cool foot.' So he took a Polaroid, called me the next day and said, 'My clients want to use your foot for these posters.' I shaved my leg, they painted it to look like stone and I got paid two grand. It was like the lottery."

March 22, 2004 - Us Weekly reports that while Justin Timberlake is in Vancouver filming his big screen debut 'Edison', his galpal Cameron Diaz has been coping by keeping in constant telephone contact with the *NSYNC singer. "Her cellphone is permanently attached to her hand," says a source on the Los Angeles set of Diaz's own film 'In Her Shoes'. Timberlake made her a CD containing rough cuts of his new songs and a spoken message. "She was beaming," says a witness, "she said, 'i'm so lucky. he's such a sweetie."

March 22, 2004 - Justin Timberlake's grandmother Sadie Bomar tells Globe magazine the *NSYNC star phoned her up on tour in the UK wanting the recipe for her three-layer chocolate pie, so he could whip it up for himself and members of his entourage. "I think he was a bit homesick and decided to make the pie, so he called me up," 70-year-old Bomar explained. "He wanted to make sure it was done right."

"They're watching the Super Bowl and look at what Justin Timberlake did. I thought that he was a skin disease," Lewis said. "I didn't know that his name was a person. They're also looking at bringing in Justin's pals N.E.R.D. "All the stops are being pulled out to secure Justin," a festival source revealed. "So far the talks are going well. He has no other UK dates this year and wants to keep his fans here happy. Justin loves hanging out in the UK and has always wanted to experience one of our big festivals. At the moment the idea of performing with N.E.R.D. is attractive because it means he can be more relaxed about the whole thing. The Canadian singer talked about touring with Justin Timberlake, as well as teaming up in the weight room with the *NSYNC star. Asked if Justin's body glistened while working out, Fefe cooed, "Yes, and somehow the sweat on his body wrote out 'Fefe'. I don't know. That's insane." But did she teach him any exercises? March 14, 2004 - People.com reports that on Monday night (March 8), owners of the Bellagio's Light rented out Mynt on Miami's Collins Street for a bash that featured an impromptu 2 a.m. dance-off between Jennifer Lopez and *NSYNC star JC Chasez. "J.Lo was dancing all around like she was single... even though she was there with Marc Anthony," a spy revealed, claiming the two stars took turns dancing on tabletops and speaker boxes to songs including 'Seven Nation Army' by the White Stripes. March 14, 2004 - Darryl Sterdan of the Winnipeg Sun reviewed *NSYNC star JC Chasez's debut solo album 'Schizophrenic', giving it 3 out of 5 stars. Sterdan writes, "Some of these 17 tracks recall the nasty sex-funk of Prince; others the cartoon freakiness of OutKast or George Clinton. Most come packing some seriously funky techno-grooves. Trouble is, even when JC walks the walk, he can't talk the talk. Vocally, he still relies on the sort of treacle-laced sound and affected delivery that reveals he hasn't outgrown his boy-band roots." March 14, 2004 - The New York Daily News reports the government drive to crack down on the broadcasters after *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake exposed the breast of Janet Jackson roared ahead on Thursday as the House of Representatives approved a bill 391-22 authorizing fines of a half million dollars per occurance, up from the current $27,500 ceiling. March 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I was at Britney Spears' Los Angeles stop of the Onyx Tour on Monday (March 8), and I was sitting in the floor level (F2). Up to my left there was a balcony which was coming from the club seating area. Towards the end of the show, there was a huge buzz going around that someone had spotted Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. Of course, everyone was looking for him and finally we all spotted him sitting in those club seats. He was in an orange shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap. March 11, 2004 - Us Weekly reports Lance Bass bolted from the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company parlor in the Palms hotel on February 26th when it was his turned to get branded, but his *NSYNC bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone grabbed him and held him down when the tattoo artist began work on his right hand. As soon as the needle made contact with Bass he screamed, "Ow! That hurts. I changed my mind!" He took off running again, this time for good. March 11, 2004 - The New York Post reports JC Chasez's rep responded to complaints from Schizophrenia Digest publisher Bill MacPhee about his 'Schizophrenia' album featuring the *NSYNC star in a straitjacket. "I apologize to anyone I may have offended with the title and cover of my album. I took artistic license... as it was in reference to the wide range of music styles in the album," the rep relayed. The singer is also said to be upset that his *NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake, who has not come out to help him promote the album, but a rep for Jive denied the gossip.

March 11, 2004 - Schizophrenia sufferer Bill MacPhee spoke with Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com, blasting JC Chasez's new album 'Schizophrenic' which features the *NSYNC star wearing a straitjacket. "I was shocked when I saw it, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I got," MacPhee complained, adding that he planned to address the topic in a forthcoming issue of his magazine, Schizophrenia Digest. "It’s a serious illness, but people who have it can lead productive lives... This sort of thing can lead to further stigmatization and stereotyping of schizophrenia sufferers."

March 8, 2004 -  The Associated Press reporter Bob Porterfield spoke with Us Weekly after meeting up with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake at Los Angeles Superior Court on February 25th to shop him the ropes on investigating legal records as he prepares for his big screen debut 'Edison', where he'll be starring as a journalist. "I was very impressed," Porterfield remarked. "I saw him in a totally different light. He wants to make a real effort to do it right."

March 8, 2004 - Andrew Goldstein of The New York Post profiled the solo launch of JC Chasez, but questioned how the *NSYNC star could fully emerge from bandmate Justin Timberlake's shadow. "When Justin's record came out, no one wanted to believe how good it was," argued Rolling Stone's Joe Levy. "It's the same with [Chasez's] record, which is just very smart, very sharp dance music. In fact, JC's made more of an underground record [than Justin] - and the surprising thing is how good it is." Levy added that Chasez's debut 'Schizophrenic' "is edgy, sexually playful. March 8, 2004 - Us Weekly has details behind Justin Timberlake's visit with Cameron Diaz on the set of her new film 'Her Shoes'. When the *NSYNC star showed up in his BMW 745i, he headed straight to Cameron's trailer. "They emerged about an hour later with smiles on their faces," said a source on the set. "Someone made the joke, 'When the trailer's a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'.' She just laughed and snuggled up to his side. Justin grinned and said, 'Y'all have dirty minds!'"

March 8, 2004 - Janet Jackson tells Ebony magazine for its April issue in her first interview since the Super Bowl breast flash that the incident was a "costume accident," echoing the explanation of *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake, who termed it a "wardrobe malfunction." Jackson said, "It was not intentional. It was a costume accident. It was an accident. That was basically it." Read more.

March 8, 2004 - Dan Aquilante of the New York Post caught up with *NSYNC star JC Chasez and asked him about the fallout he suffered after his bandmate Justin Timberlake exposed the breast of Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl. "Yeah. It wasn't fair," JC said of his Pro Bowl removal. "I know it was a sensitive situation, and I understand why they did it. What (Janet and Justin) did was a big deal, but it wasn't as big a deal as everyone made out. Some people claimed emotional distress because of it. Give me a break. Compared to the average news broadcast, with reports about terrorist bombings, war and death, how harmful is one naked breast? It's really comes off as hypocritical to me. Did that boob harm anyone? No." Asked what he thought was more important than Janet Jackson's nipple, Chasez responded, "Well, we're in a year when we are electing a new president. How about that? We're in the middle of a war. March 5, 2004 - Radio 1 reports that Justin Timberlake says if kids don't get opportunities to learn music in class, they may miss out on a music career. That's why he has his own charity called the Justin Timberlake Foundation which gives money to music programs in schools. "I grew up in a small town, Millington, Tennessee, and at my school there really was no music program, and if I hadn't urged my mom to take me to voice lessons privately, and buy me a guitar and get a piano, I wouldn't have learned music," Timberlake explained. "It may have changed the path that I went down. Especially when you're at a young age, anything that occurs can totally change a path." Read more.

March 5, 2004 - USA Today music critic Elysa Gardner took part in an online chat with readers on Tuesday, and was asked her opinion about the hopes for the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC to find success after extended breaks, or whether their time is up. "That's the question we've been asking forever, isn't it," she asked. "I don't know; with *NSYNC's most prominent members, [Justin Timberlake] and [JC Chasez], getting recognized as mature solo artists, I don't know that *NSYNC will be able to do their thing full force. March 5, 2004 - WENN reports that Usher has spoken out against Justin Timberlake, accusing the *NSYNC star of not having the originality to take away his crown as the 'King of R&B.' Usher says, "I think when you guys put Justin Timberlake in the category of being a follower it shows that he can't be a leader. That's not good. It kind of worries me that every time that question comes up, Justin Timberlake is taking the spot. I wouldn't want to be a follower, would you? I wanna lead in my own category. So I'll go ahead and put it out there if Justin hasn't already. There'll never be another Usher. There'll never be a spot filling if you know what I mean."

March 5, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Joshua Klein of The Washington Post reviewed *NSYNC star JC Chasez's debut album 'Schizophrenic' saying, "If variety is the spice of life, then 'Schizophrenic' is something of a sampler plate, but one can't help but be impressed at what Chasez has cooked up." March 5, 2004 - NSYNC star JC Chasez took part in a Q&A with Blender magazine where the asked the singer what drug he would never take again. "Anything with chemicals scares the sh** out of me," he responded. "I've seen people fall apart, and I won't have any part of that. I've only done mushrooms and smoked pot. And I won't say that I'll never do those again, because I have a long life in front of me." As for the first time he ever got drunk, Chasez said, "It was fun. I was 13 or so, at a pool hall in my hometown, Bowie, Maryland. We'd make somebody buy us a beer, then we'd put it in a Dixie Cup. March 5, 2004 - The New York Daily News reports Chris Kirkpatrick, who has seen the least amount of work since *NSYNC went on break, has voiced his displeasure with bandmate Justin Timberlake's reluctance to rejoin the group on the road. "We'd love to go on tour, but Justin doesn't want to do a reunion," Kirkpatrick was overheard complaining at the recent celeb-stuffed opening of Las Vegas tattoo parlor Hart and Huntington. March 3, 2004 - jtluvak8 writes "Last week, pictures of *NSYNC Star Justin Timberlake at a law office in Los Angeles began to float around the web. It was assumed that Justin was attending lawsuits that *NSYNC recently faced for a former tour manager's discrimination claims. However, the Associated Press reports that Justin was researching his role in the upcoming flick, 'Edison'. He created quite a stir as he filled out an application for legal documents and pored over them with Porterfield in a public viewing area for about 45 minutes. Justin tagged along Bob Porterfield, a reporter for the AP. Porterfield was impressed with how sharp and attentive Justin was. He says, "I thought he was sharp. He seemed attentive and interested in learning this stuff. He has a real interest in developing his part. He took quite a few notes." March 3, 2004 - XtinaSpears writes "Christopher John Farley, senior editor of Time magazine was a guest on the MSNBC newsmagazine show 'Deborah Norville Tonight' on Monday (March 1), where the topic of discussion turned to singers jumping head-first into acting. When *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake was mentioned, Farley offered his opinion on Justin's move, saying, "This is not the Mickey Mouse Club. He's going to be working with some highly established actors who can own and command a scene with little to no effort at all. I don't think Justin Timberlake can even attempt to rise to their level. How on earth is he going to lead this movie?" Farley added, "He deserves the benefit of the doubt, but it would've been a better idea for him to work his way up the ladder by starting out small, doing some independent films. March 3, 2004 - With Monday marking the one-month anniversary of Janet Jackson's Super Bowl breast flash, The Smoking Gun obtained a sampling of letters sent to the Federal Communications Commission following the controversial halftime show. While the FCC received more than 200,000 e-mails and letters about the incident, the website was only willing to fork over $249.90 for 1570 representative letters. March 1, 2004 - Lorraine Ali of Newsweek spoke with JC Chasez on the release of 'Schizophrenic', the *NSYNC star's solo debut. "*NSYNC is a machine. There's a meeting about everything," JC said, comparing the two situations. "It's fine, but it's an organization and there's five members of the board. March 1, 2004 - The New York Post reports actor and promoter Michael Sutton says he was barred from Justin Timberlake's private concert at The Roof in Los Angeles because he made the *NSYNC star wait to get into one of his parties a few weeks ago. "A couple of Tuesdays prior, Justin and Cameron Diaz had to wait longer than they had liked to get into Michael's Tuesday night party," said a source close to Sutton. "The security, half of whom had worked for Michael at one point, were all apologizing as they had to pass on the request of Justin's for Michael to leave." Owner Allan David responded, "I don't even think Justin has been to The Roof on a Tuesday and he can get in whenever he wants. Michael works for us. Justin is our partner. It was a Vanity Fair party, not our party. There was a strict guest list. It was a red-carpet event, and if Michael couldn't get in, it was because he was not on the guest list. Cinquemani writes, "By naming his solo debut 'Schizophrenic', JC Chasez just calls attention to what some might perceive as the record’s multiple personality disorder. But the album isn’t as scattershot as one might expect; instead, it’s a horny medley of 80s dance influences and libidinous come-hither sentiments that would make Prince proud. March 1, 2004 - Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com was on hand for Justin Timberlake's gig at the rooftop of the Hyatt Hotel in West Hollywood on Thursday night, where *NSYNC bandmate Lance Bass was on hand, but not Cameron Diaz. Lance told Friedman that there wouldn't be a new *NSYNC album until 2005, after Justin finishes his role in the movie 'Edison' and a new solo album. "We just have to wait for him," Bass said. Friedman also has news on jailed private investigator Anthony Pellicano who may have been taping former client Michael Jackson. Read more.

March 1, 2004 - Justin Timberlake's mother Lynn Harless spoke with 'Access Hollywood' in her first interview since the *NSYNC star exposed the breast of Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl. "We were shocked, everybody was shocked," said Harless. "Not shocked like 'I can't believe he did that,' shocked like 'I can't believe that happened,' because it happened to him, just like it happened to us, so we were all just shocked." March 1, 2004 - Rolling Stone caught up with JC Chasez to preview his new album 'Schizophrenic' and was asked about his bandmate Justin Timberlake's claim that 'Justified' was better than anything *NSYNC put out. "You're always trying to up the bar on yourself," he said. "It's probably his best performance and material because he's pushed himself to get better. When we did 'Celebrity', he thought that was his best work." JC was a little less diplomatic when pressured to reveal what kind of music he didn't like. "I don't want to hurt the kid's feeling, but. March 1, 2004 - Aidin Vaziri of The San Francisco Chronicle caught up with *NSYNC star JC Chasez in wake of the release of his solo debut 'Schizophrenic'. Vaziri described the album as "Every song is like when they announce the nominees at the MTV Awards and just play the best 15 seconds of each track back-to-back." JC said, "When I handed the album over to the record company, they just kind of scooted back from the table, like, 'Wow, this is a lot of information'.
