January 31, 2005 - In Touch magazine reports that with Cameron Diaz nowhere to be found, Justin Timberlake was a babe magnet during a night out at his Chi restaurnat in West Hollywood on January 10th. The *NSYNC star was joined by Trace Ayala and Elisha Cuthbert and "hod girls swooning all over him," according to a source. A Britney Spears look-alike got most of the singer's attention though. "He didn't go home with her, but he spent the entire evening talking with her. And he took her phone number, although he didn't give out his!"

January 31, 2005 - Soccer star Wayne Rooney's lookalike cousin James tells The Sunday Mirror he is Britain's answer to Justin Timberlake. Rooney has signed on with Martin O'Shea, the man behind Atomic Kitten, and will release a cover of Bobby Brown classic 'Two Can Play That Game'. "I've got a dead soulful voice," he insisted. "I have got a voice very similar to Justin Timberlake."

January 31, 2005 - Star magazine reports that Justin Timberlake's mother Lynn Harless may be the main reason the *NSYNC star hasn't proposed to Cameron Diaz. "Nobody knows why she doesn't like Cameron; maybe it's because she thinks no one is good enough for her son," a source told the tabloid. "It could be the age thing, too. Supposedly, she wasn't thrilled when he was dating Alyssa Milano," who was also nine years his senior. An insider who was on tour with Timberlake with Diaz and Harless said, "I often saw Cameron on tour with him, and I saw his mother. I never saw the two women together." Read more.

January 31, 2005 - World Entertainment News Network reports that Justin Timberlake's grandmother Sadie Bomar would like to see the *NSYNC star marry ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, who is already married to Kevin Federline. Bomar prefers Spears to Timberlake's current squeeze, Cameron Diaz. "He was heartbroken when they split and he'll always love her," Bomar said. "I didn't think Cameron was interested in getting married any time soon, I guess I was wrong. Britney would certainly be welcome back. We still adore her. It's sad. They were so much in love for so long. It seemed awfully sad to see them break up. I thought for a long time there was a chance they could get back on track. But obviously that wasn't to be."

January 24, 2005 - World Entertainment News Network reports that Cameron Diaz will marry Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC wearing a Native American dress designed by her best friend David Jet Black Horse. "I am hoping to make her a really cool native American wedding dress, with white moccasins and everything," the designer said. "I think she would look amazing in a white leather shortish dress with beading - the moccasins would match. She has a dress a bit like it already but it would be different and fun." Read more.

January 10, 2005 - The Daily Star reports that Justin Timberlake's grandmother Sadie Bomar is upset with the *NSYNC star after hearing he proposed to Cameron Diaz. "Sadie was disappointed her grandson hadn't told the family before asking Cameron to marry him," a source revealed. "She has always been extremely close to him and made sure he has stayed grounded throughout his phenomenal rise to fame. And she just wants the best for him like most family members would. It's only natural. But she does feel very let down about the whole situation."

January 10, 2005 - People magazine reports that although Cameron Diaz was seen wearing a sparkling diamond on her ring finger, a rep for the actress denies rumors that she's engaged to her boyfriend, *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. The Sun had reported Timberlake proposed to Diaz over the holidays. "Justin and Cameron are really happy," a friend told the British tab. "They spent a lot of time together over the holidays and they decided the time was right to get engaged. Justin spent a fortune on the ring. Cameron was thrilled with it." Read more.

January 10, 2005 - Lindsay Lohan was on 'The Tony Danza Show' on Tuesday (January 4), where she commented on dealing with paparazzi and criticized Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC and girlfriend Cameron Diaz after they attacked a photographer and took off with his camera. "You have to understand that when you come into this business you wanna be in the tabloids, you want to be written up, you want paparazzi to follow you and, then, when they do, people freak out," Lohan remarked. "I mean you have Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake hitting people now... It gets frustrating but you have to understand that's their job and they're just trying to get a picture. It's a blessing rather than something you should hate... If you let them take a picture it's a little bit easier."
