May 26, 2005 - Justin Timberlake's publicist Ken Sunshine called an Us Weekly report "total nonsense" which suggested the *NSYNC star was heading to France to lip-sync at the bar mitzvah for Philip Green's son over the weekend for a $1 million payoff. "Nobody who reps Justin knows anything about this," Sunshine said. "Don't you think there'd be travel arrangements? Or a contract?" May 26, 2005 - Jason Alexander spoke with In Touch magazine in the second half of an exclusive interview. Britney Spears' 55-hour hubby said he knows why the singer split with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. "I know why they broke up. May 26, 2005 - Us Weekly reports that Justin Timberlake has been offered by British billionaire Philip Green - owner of Bhs, the Uk's largest privately owned retailer - to perform at a bar mitzvah at the Grand Hotel in the resort of St Jean Cap Ferrat. Unfortunately, the *NSYNC star had surgery on May 5th to remove nodules, and he may be forced to lip-synch. "We don't think he'll be singing live due to his throat problem; he may mime," a source explained.

May 26, 2005 - Shane Nickerson, the 'Trippin' producer being linked to Justin Timberlake's girlfriend Cameron Diaz, goes into detail on the National Enquirer's story/photos alleging an affair. Nickerson writes, "...Here's the other thing: It's such a ludicrous story, that there was never a moment from her of 'Is this true?' In fact, I told my wife, 'One of the reasons this is so stupid is because you know that if I was hooking up with CD you'd have been the first one I high-fived.' She laughed because she knows me. May 26, 2005 - Neil Sean of Sky News reports that Justin Timberlake has signed on to star in three episodes of 'Will & Grace' as the gay boyfriend of Sean Hayes' character Jack. A source said, "He loved the fact he was playing against type and still proved a big hit. He was thrilled to be asked back." May 26, 2005 - Sky News reports that Cameron Diaz is suing The Sun for alleging she was having an affair behind the back of boyfriend Justin Timberlake with married producer Shane Nickerson. "Cameron Diaz has today instructed her solicitors Schillings to issue and serve libel proceedings against the publishers of The Sun newspaper," a statement said. The story was "falsely alleging that she had embarked upon a secret affair with a married man", it added. Read more.

May 26, 2005 - Cameron Diaz's rep, Brad Cafarelli, released a statement calling the story in the National Enquirer claiming the actress cheated on boyfriend Justin Timberlake with producer Shane Nickerson "false and salacious." The statement reads: "This is a case of a tabloid colluding with the stalkerazzi in an attempt to distort the truth and mislead the public. They have intentionally tried to manipulate the photographic images in such a way that would support their false and salacious story, when in fact they do not. Shane is a friend and associate of Cameron's, who works with her on her MTV show, Trippin'. He is not a public figure and, because of these lies and misrepresentaions, he and his family are being hounded and harrassed by the tabloid media. There is absolutely no romantic relationship between them whatsoever, contrary to these sad, mean-spirited attempts to create drama where none exists." Read more.

Witness Oscar Duran said: "Cameron wrapped her arms around the guy and started kissing him on the mouth. They stood kissing for a good three minutes." Diaz's publicist Brad Cafarelli furiously denied any romance, insisting, "Shane Nickerson is a friend of Cameron's and a valued associate who works with her on her MTV show ['Trippin'']. May 12, 2005 - The New York Daily News reports *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake didn't look happy the other night at Butter when girlfriend Cameron Diaz used him as her human dance pole. "She was, like, literally humping him," a witness tells revealed. "Justin looked like he wanted to die." And as for reports the singer was due to undergo surgery for nodules, his rep responded, "Is the surgery supposed to be on the same day that he's getting married in the South of France?"
