first record was the first record. There was nothing to compare it to,
so there really was no pressure. I don't think people expected what they
got, which is good - but I also think with this one, the pressure started
to subside a little bit after I started coming up with the music, because
I felt like what I was creating was so unique compared to that first album
that it kind of sat alone on its own plateau. It definitely has a consistent
sound to it and I love it." Read more.

September 29, 2006 - X17
has issued the following statement in response to Cameron Diaz's police
report charging their photographer with assault with a deadly weapon: "To
the best of our knowledge, the pictures and video of Justin Timberlake
and Cameron Diaz early morning on Tuesday, September 19 were taken on a
public street where there was no 'Private Drive' or 'Private Property'
sign visible. What the photographer knows he saw and what the pictures
show, were at least two people verbally and physically assaulting him.
Reports stating that Ms. Diaz has told police that the photographer tried
to run her over with his car are completely false. The photographer was
attempting to leave what he perceived to be a dangerous situation for him
and when he tried to do so, Ms. Diaz and at least one other member of her
entourage stood in front of his car in an attempt to entrap him. He drove
around them at what he perceived to be a safe distance, as at least five
members of Ms. Diaz and Mr. Timberlake's group were yelling at him, making
threats against him. The photographer is currently in the process of filing
a complaint against Ms. Diaz and Mr. Timberlake."

September 15, 2006 - Anonymous
writes "Last night I was one of the three dozen or so writers in attendance
for the Justin Timberlake album listening event. Anyone who's paid attention
to music at all has seen the growth and maturation of JT. From "cute" boy
band member, to his attempt to channel a more urban sound, to now a full
grown adult who is making *gasp* full grown adult music. The most interesting
aspect of JT right now is that after spending the better part of a decade
trying to fit into boxes, more than likely label-mandated boxes, he's found
a sound of his own and finally sounds like he's completely at home with
his music. For the full review, visit adambernard.blogspot.com."

said. "Obviously, he's one of my best friends. But 'SexyBack' is a brand-new
sound for him, and it's opened up a lot of minds. The safe route would
have been to make another record like the last one, because it was so successful.
But I like the fact that he said, 'No. I'm going to be artistic. I am going
to change my sound,' because that's what he was inspired to do." Read more.

September 15, 2006 - A source
close to Cameron Diaz tells The Chicago Sun-Times reports that her relationship
with Justin Timberlake is in trouble simply aren't true. "We've heard this
all before," the insider said. "In [show business] people's schedules are
tough -- and it's not unusual for couples to be on opposite sides of the
globe working. ... It's hard, but that's the way it is. Just because people
are apart, doesn't mean they're really apart." Read more.
September 15, 2006 - Roger
Friedman of FoxNews.com was on hand for Justin Timberlake's gig at the
Roseland Ballroom in New York City after the MTV Video Music Awards last
Thursday, but wasn't impressed with the former *NSYNC star's new material
on 'FutureSex/LoveSounds'. "Like Beyonce's 'B'Day' and Jessica Simpson's
'A Public Affair', this new album by a contemporary pop singer sounds like
it was made in some distant corporate factory full of pounding beats and
pre-ordered screeching," he writes, even as Timberlake's 'SexyBack' sits
atop the US and UK singles charts. "The songs, like the ones that were
cited on Wednesday at BMI's Urban Awards, were written by committees. Justin
also has the disadvantage of trying to appear as a musician rather than
simply a singer. This is too bad, because his voice is terrific. He's developed
a really great R&B falsetto, supple enough to take on a couple of well-arranged
Philly soul-like numbers and match the vivid rhythm section of his tight,
well-constructed 12-piece band. But he tries too hard, simulating keyboard
playing that feels unconvincing, considering that two more players are
hidden in the dark confines of the band." Read more.

about Jive, his time with the group his solo cd, his writing, JC, Christina
Aguilera and the first thing he said was how much creative control he had
on this album and shared with me that the BSB should fight for it which
I agree with. Who knows if he was just being nice because he knew I'm a
BSB fan. But he seemed sincere and seemed to like the boys. It's hard to
