August 31, 2000 - The Recording Academy reports that *NSYNC will indeed perform at the 1st Annual Latin Grammy Awards and sing their bilingual track "This I Promise You/Yo Te Voy A Amar". The show airs September 13 at 9PM (EST) on CBS.

August 29, 2000 - A lot of you have been asking when the 2nd leg of *NSYNC tour tickets go on sale... September 16th is your answer. As I suggested in the message boards, your best bet may be to call out of state numbers of cities that won't have *NSYNC coming nearby. Or see if there's online ording available. August 28, 2000 - Latest rumor we've heard now is that Justin dated model Kim Smith for awhile recently... At least that's what's circulating on some of the *NSYNC message boards.

August 28, 2000 - Waks.com has a mpg file (3.6mb!... Too bad it isn't streamed on Real Video) that shows Justin and Britney rubbing noses and kissing... From National Enquirer TV. To check it out, click here.

August 26, 2000 - More eye raising comments on Groupie Central as they are debating the very sugject of our opinion poll, Justin being a virgin or not. But more interesting was a post that suggests Joey Fatone has a Superman symbol tattoo right above his penis and that he was having sex with one of Justin's ex girlfriends while he was still dating her, and that he doesn't know about it. August 26, 2000 - *NSYNC will be doing a duet with Son By Four in this year's first-ever Latin Grammy Awards show, according to Billboard.

August 26, 2000 - eBay has an autographed picture of Justin up for bids. The 8x10 photo (item #418651320) is bid at $15.50 and runs until September 3rd.

August 24, 2000 - Jimmy Pop of the Bloodhound Gang tells MTV Asia they're working on tracks with *NSYNC and adds "We were stunned when we heard 'N Sync liked us, but we're going to work with them, so that will probably ruin their reputation."

August 22, 2000 - Salon.com's Amy Reiter reports that Britney and Justin were spotted dining a deux at Del Frisco's Steakhouse in Orlando. A witness told Amy "They were very close and affectionate, constantly holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. They shared meals and dessert." When the witness approached Britney in the bathroom, she claimed Spears was rude to her.

August 22, 2000 - *NSYNC's official site is the most popular of all music artist sites on the web, according to MediaX Corporation, which designs and maintains the site. MediaX claims that *Nsync's official website enjoyed approximately 800,000 unique visitors in July of this year, while backstreetboys.com earned about 500,000.

August 21, 2000 - Popcentric reports that Justin was seen with Britney last week as a witness saw him after her Top of The Pops appearance. Justin was wearing a bandana over his head and sunglasses.

August 21, 2000 - The National Examiner interviewed Disney talent scout Matt Casella, who commented on Justin saying "He was only 11 when he helted out When a Man Loves a Woman - it was a home run."

August 21, 2000 - Not Justin news, but too big to go unreported as The National Enquirer reports *NSYNC's Joey Fatone has been hit with a paternity suit. 24 year old Dawn Sutton claims the two had sex 4 years ago after a concert and she's convinced it's Joey's saying "Joey was my first and only, until after Kayla was born. There is no doubt in my mind that Joey is Kayla's father.". The birth certificate lists Joseph Anthoney Fatone as the legal father though Fatone had no idea until recently when she confronted Joey's parents with the news. An inside source told the Enquirer that Dawn is seeking several thousand a month in child support.

August 19, 2000 - NSYNC was on hand at the Ronald McDonald House in Orlando, Florida, August 16, 2000, the same day they received keys to the city. If you'll notice, Justin appears to be growing a goatee.

August 18, 2000 - Popcentric reports Justin was on WESH NBC talking about him and Britney, where he said "We thought it would be funny since people are always talking about us being together. I have given up talking about my personal life, because no matter what I say, people still believe what they want. No, I am not engaged and no I am not dating Britney. She has been a real good friend since I was 12. We hang out and do things other teenage friends would do, but we are not dating.'"

August 18, 2000 - Some *NSYNC updates, the new single will be out on Sept. 18 in both English and Spanish, written and produced by Richard Marx. Also, their upcoming home video and DVD, "Live From Madison Square Garden", will be in stores on Oct. 10.

August 18, 2000 - *NSYNC will join Christina Aguilera, Sisqo, and the Wayans Brothers on special TV Guide covers to celebrate the MTV Video Music Awards.

August 17, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports that Justin and Britney were seen shopping in Oregon at Urban Outfitters. Justin attended her concert later and they showed him on the jumbo screen. He also adds the two shared a hotel suite at the Radisson in Sacramento.

August 16, 2000 - Ted Casablanca is chiming in on reader's Justin and Britney questions, saying "If they have plans to move in together, why does that necessarily mean they've already slept together?" as well as "From what I hear, Justin is more smitten with the strut. If anything, I predict it will be Britney who'll have second thoughts."

August 16, 2000 - Orlando Florida will present *NSYNC to keys to the town according to Worldpop, though we think it already happened today if not Thursday.

August 15, 2000 - You may have noticed the controversial Groupie Central thread with Incognito Blonde has been closed, and the controversy surrounding her claim has caused them to update their posting policies. The chief reasons? *NSYNC and Def Leppard catfighting!

August 15, 2000 - Apparently the reason the Britney and Justin marriage rumors started was because of a trip Justin took with his manager where the manager picked up an engagement ring. The owners of the store thought the ring was for Britney and then started spreading the rumor.

August 15, 2000 - Now don't go starting any rumors, this picture is just of Justin and LeAnn Rimes from their appearance at the Coyote Ugly premiere party in New York.

August 15, 2000 - pagesix.com's Paula Froelich in a Yahoo chat last week commented about Britney and Justin, saying "She and Justin Timberlake are very good friends and have known each other for many years but I don't see a ring on her finger."

August 15, 2000 - Our opinion poll asking "Do you think Britney Spears should get married to Justin Timberlake?" produced a staggering 5043 votes since the story broke last month, with 27.3% sayng yes, but the vast majority, 72.7% saying no. The results were even more slanted when girls were asked the same question of Justin, with 84.4% (3928 votes total) saying no way!

August 14, 2000 - Monica tells MTV that her and Justin will be doing a movie together, which will be on The Wonderful World of Disney (ABC).

August 14, 2000 - Additional details of Britney and Justin's stage appearance at the Teen Choice awards are coming in, as the two called each other 'cute' and added they should go out some time, then finally slowly moved towards each other's lips before bolting off the stage.

August 14, 2000 - More pictures of *NSYNC's tour have emerged, this time courtesy of their Tacoma Dome performance.

August 13, 2000 - There have been more reports of Justin appearing at Britney's concerts recently, both by popcentric and Groupie Central, so apparently if Thalia caused a fight between the two they've since made up.

August 12, 2000 - Justin and the *NSYNC gang are now featured in a board game where players attempt to answer questions about the group in an attempt to move their player pieces up to the front of the crowd and eventually backstage. The game is from Patch and is called *NSYNC Backstage Pass.

August 10, 2000 -Plenty of dirt today from E! Online's Ted Casablanca, as he reports Britney and Justin are rumored to be house hunting in LA. He also says Justin "knows how to navigate around a punch bowl", more specifically, that they (him and other members of *NSYNC) do drink liquor, contrary to what he was told earlier.

August 10, 2000 - Regarding our item on the 9th, apparently visitor's we've sent to Groupie Central are by in large convinced the Incognito chick is full of it... And contrary to what was said, abstracts.net neither believes or disbelieves, but as many on the thread suggested, it 'sounds' more believable that the earlier stories.

August 9, 2000 - We're hearing rumors on Groupie Central that Justin Timberlake is actually dating Kayliegh (sp?) and while he still sees Britney, it's mostly for PR and isn't serious... We aren't convinced, sorry.

August 7, 2000 - An appearance in Chicago by *NSYNC caused a near riot that disrupted the Swissotel VIP dinner for the 709th birthday of Switzerland, reports worldpop.

August 7, 2000 - *NSYNC won 5 awards in this years Teen Choice Awards 2000 held Sunday night for Choice Pop Group, Choice Single (Bye, Bye Bye), Song of the Summer (It's Gonna Be Me), Choice Music Video (It's Gonna Be Me), and for Justin, Male Hottie of the Year. The show will be aired tape delayed on Fox on Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. EDT.

August 5, 2000 - NSYNC is reportedly going to do another 'No Strings Attached' tour starting in October and finishing up in December. No dates have been announced as of yet

August 4, 2000 - entertaindom.com on what we didn't see on the *NSYNC HBO special: I The crowd booing just minutes before airtime after an announcer told them not to wave banners during the show, the message ''Flashlights Now!'' that came across the jumbo screen before HBO panned to the illuminated crowd, and of course, the anxious parents massed outside the venue.

August 4, 2000 - If you are into this whole McDonalds promotion, check out hugem.com, which features video clips of *NSYNC and Britney. It is somewhat difficult to navigate, asking you to click random squares that lead you to different paths.

August 4, 2000 - A week after their publicized fight, Justin was at SoHo's Club NV dirty-dancing with assorted beauties, with Britney nowhere in sight according to the New York Daily News. Is their relationship over??

August 3, 2000 - More details are rolling in on Justin's fight with Britney last week at Chaos last week, as MTV veejay Thalia apparently was at the heart of the trouble. E! Online's Ted Casablanca interviewed a witness who said of Thalia "She totally had her eyes on Justin. She was an 'N Sync slut, and to put it mildly, Britney was not happy." Britney stormed off as Justin flirted with Thalia, instead hanging with her dancers. Ted also reports none of the *NSYNC'ers drank booze except Chris Kirkpatrick.

August 3, 2000 - An emailer to popcentric reports that Justin Timberlake was sporting a haircut during their final US tour performance in Joliet, IL on Tuesday.

August 2, 2000 - Ok, we heard now that Justin's team won the Challenge For The Children II charity basketball game, not to mention they raised $500,000 for the cause.

August 1, 2000 - More new pictures of Justin rolling in, as these two pictures have him at FAO Schwartz (see below) and his appearance at the Coyote Ugly screening, standing behind the film's star, Piper Perabo... now watch romance rumors between the two flair up in the coming days...

August 1, 2000 - Not to get off the subject of Justin, but as we reported yesteray, Lance was telling the world of his feelings for Katie Couric. Today she responded by saying the crush was "sweet" and asked How old is Lance?" He's 21.

August 1, 2000 - Roger Friedman interviewed Justin Timberlake this week where he says of the Backstreet Boys and whether they are really friends "No, we don't have anything to do with them at all." He also says he'd rather compare *NSYNC to the Stones rather than The Beatles, saying "I'd say the Stones because we have more edge."
