Post today reports that the Backstreet Boys are determined to break the
*NSYNC record for album sales, quoting a record executive "They hate each
other. The Backstreet Boys are working on a new album they'll release in
October, and they are doing everything they can to break *NSYNC's record
sales. That's what their focus is now."

27, 2000 - Justin Timberlake was the host of Teen People's 25 Hottest Stars
Under 25 special last night. He did a decent job, made alot of goofy faces
and split the victory with BSB's Brian Litrell. He said that he bought
a BMW roadster and just got his first ticket in it. He also commented that
even if there wasn't an *NSYNC the guys would still be friends.
May 24, 2000 - While Justin
Timberlake isn't named in the thank you section of Britney's liner notes
on the new album, she closes them by saying "And lastly, as I sit here
twisting my hair -- wishing it was yours! -- thinking of if there is a
way to thank you for all the lifts, smiles, and surprise visits -- you
will be a part of my heart and soul ALWAYS!" [as Britney would say, 'awww,
that's so sweet!]
May 21, 2000 - The New York
Post's Page Six reports that Eminem is demanding that life size dolls of
Christina, Britney, and *NSYNC bandmembers be 'noosed' up from the ceilings
at One 51 for his CD release party Monday.
May 20, 2000 - Justin and
*NSYNC took part in a low key party at Cannes, which was so dead that Justin
was quoted as saying "It's kind of nice to be able to go around and shop."
It was set up last minute and not publicised though.
May 15, 2000 - Justin really
made a bad move with his new hairstyle we think. The curly teen favorite
is now sporting a new braided look, as he was on Access Hollywood tonight.
May 14, 2000 - Justin Timberlake
received his high school diploma last night in his hometown of Memphis
during a performance.
May 14, 2000 - Britney's

May 2, 2000 - NEWS FLASH,
Britney Spears admits to Rolling Stone in this issue that she kisses Justin!
When Rolling Stone followed up on a question about Justin asking "But when
you hang out, do you do things like, say, kiss?" Britney replied "Sometimes,
oh my God. My manager's going to kill me." While screaming in embarrassment
she added "Oh God! I'm blushing."
May 1, 2000 - MTV asked Justin
about the Eminem video, which Justin smirked about and said Christina got
it the worst, though he may not have seen Slim Shady sitting on his face
(lookalikes anyways) in their portion of the video.
May 1, 2000 - Access Hollywood
and ET both covered the *NSYNC movie premiere taping, though there was
no movie yet. Justin tells ET "we will play fictional characters and not
ourselves."

reports Britney flew in Justin Timberlake and some of her friends during
her 5 day stay in Hawaii for her ABC special.
