is quoted in a Team Harmony press release commenting on racism and bigotry,
saying "Let's do everything we can to stop the violence and stop all this
hatred. I'm going to do everything I can to help you guys reach the goals
that you want to reach. With that in mind, if we work together, we can
do great things for the world. So let's stop the violence, y'all." For

30, 2000 - Thanks JustinsGirl. *NSYNC is nomminated for 3 awards: "Group
of the Year," "Best Stage Spectacle," (No Strings Attached stage) and "Most
Entertaining Public Fued" - (N Sync vs. Lou Pearlman). So go to vh1.com,
register and vote! They also have an option that you can nomminate an artist,
so if we all nominate *NSYNC enough, then they'll be on the ballot for
catorgories like "Best Live Act" "Best Song" "Best Video of the Year" (It's
Gonna Be Me) "Song We Want To Hear At the Show" (This I promise You) So
go and vote, and if you nominate them, make sure you click the empty box
next to their name, or the vote doesn't count. Voting ends October 20th.
September 29, 2000 - JAM!
Showbiz is reporting that *NSYNC will have a track on the soundtrack of
How The Grinch Stole Christmas, which stars Jim Carey. They'll be singing
You Don't Have To Be Alone. The album is out November 7th, the movie
opens November 17th.
September 28, 2000 - Vibe
is calling for Justin Timberlake to release a solo effort and dump his
*NSYNC bandmates. They say of Justin, "He can sing, dance, and not many
white boys can rock a curly, dirty-blond afro, much less cornrows, as well
as he can." They add, "Besides, without Justin, *NSYNC might as well be
C Note." Their suggested solo album title? Out of Sync.
September 28, 2000 - 98 Degrees
album released this week contains a good word to *NSYNC from Nick Lachey,
who says, "A big shout out to 'N Sync - it's been awesome to watch you
guys rise to the top. No one deserves it more!"
September 28, 2000 - *NSYNC
added three more tour dates (added a second day) in Uniondale, St. Louis,
and San Diego.
September 27, 2000 - In one
of our most heavily voted polls (5507 votes!), a surprising 44.6 percent
of you think Justin Timberlake is a virgin, especially considering the
admitted

September 26, 2000 - Worldpop
reports that Britney Spears and boyfriend Justin Timberlake were on hand
to watch her show at the Mars Music Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach one
week after Britney had completed her tour.

is having a prize for *NSYNC Backstage Pass Board Game for people that
register on their site, 14 winners in total.
September 25, 2000 - The
Sun reported that NSYNC will be on the Simpsons and during the episode
in question, Bart decides he and his friends want to form a boy band but
worries that they can't sing.
September 25, 2000 - MTV
Asia reports that *NSYNC has suffered several injuries while performing
at live shows, as JC admits "Justin and me have both chipped our teeth
on microphones. Joey and Chris and Lance have messed up their ankles quite
a bit. Chris hurt his knee and Justin broke his arm." He adds though, "It's
just part of going out there! Once that crowd is in front of you, you don't
think about it. The adrenaline takes over and you forget about the pain."
September 24, 2000 - We have
unconfirmed reports that the This I Promise You video release date is being
pushed back because *NSYNC has to return to Los Angeles and re-shoot some
parts of the video. Apparently JC was in a Montreal press conference to
break the news. No official release date has been set.
September 24, 2000 - For
those that missed out on *NSYNC tickets, beginning tomorrow and continuing

September 24, 2000 - The
New York Daily News report s that *NSYNC will be on hand at Derek Jeter's
Super Bowl party, which Jeter plans on being the Super Bowl party of all
time. A mansion has been reserved and Jeter's pal Eytan Sugarman says of
the event, "I'm kind of nervous about it, to tell you the truth. This is
the biggest thing we've ever done. Most of our events have been pretty
easy: [But] as soon as you mention Derek Jeter, every modeling agency is
calling for tickets. It takes care of itself."
September 24, 2000 - Veteran
rocker Jon Bon Jovi is commenting on whether Britney or *NSYNC will be
long term successes, saying "Will any of those guys be around [in] ten
years? Who knows? But once upon a time, people thought we were a fluke,
too."
September 24, 2000 - Part

those debating whether the rumored comments about Justin in Smash Hits
September 15 issue, Grammy.com has the following line in their article
on *NSYNC, "Justin Timberlake was not present for the rehearsal, the remaining
four – JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass – gave
an impressive preview of what the worldwide audience can expect for tomorrow's
show."
September 24, 2000 - Worldpop
reports Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were again spotted out together
Monday in Georgia, celebrating at an Atlanta restaurant The Boundary with
100 crew, cast and dancers.
September 23, 2000 - Want
a rhinestone bandanna like Justin wore on tour? Well check out this eBay
auction.
He says his are better quality than many of the cheap imitations out there.
September 22, 2000 - *NSYNC
manager Johnny Wright is commenting to USA Today on the current teen pop
craze, "On MTV, you have an 'N Sync video next to Metallica. In the past,
you had to pick a side -- be a rocker or a popper. Now you can be both."
Apparently though, Wright also is anticipating a backlash, managing Gotti
XIII, "a group of real musicians playing real instruments." Katrillion.com's
Kathy Keeley chimes in "The 'N Syncs and Britneys are good for getting
[preteens] into music, out to concerts and into record stores." adding,
"Young kids love the glamour and choreography of teen acts, but after a
while, they want something more, maybe bands that play their own instruments."
September 22, 2000 - Nate
Lichtman of the Wisconsin Badger Herald on *NSYNC, "It's difficult to watch
a group of twenty five year-old men like 'N Sync and The Backstreet Boys
wear neon green clothes and sing about high school love when they haven't
been in high school for ten years. That's why Napster was so cool; it was
causing some discomfort in an otherwise comfortable music world."
September 22, 2000 - Marian
Newsome, music director at Philadelphia's WIOQ-FM talking about *NSYNC
"You go to an `N Sync show, and you'll see girls in their late teens. I
remember seeing a sign that said `30-Year-Olds Love You, Too.' You won't
catch those people at a Hanson show: That band is branded as your little
sister's favorite group."
September 21, 2000 - E! Online's
Ted Casablanca reveals Justin and Britney are still house hunting, we presume
in Los Angeles. Ted also shares that Tatyana Ali and Justin attended Continental's
new weekly Game Night recently. In addition, Justin has been hanging
at home in Millington, Tennessee where he was with his stepdad at the Sonic
Drive-In burger chain in nearby Covington.

has a special
section profiling the guys in *NSYNC, including psychic readings, chat,
webcast, photo gallery, and Q&A.
September 20, 2000 - Interesting
story out of tennessean.com, as they report Britney and Justin had a great
time in Nashville. The two joined Britney's crew and Innosense in the private
upstairs room at the Bound'ry for drinks, eats and tour awards. Apparently
Britney and the under 21 members of the group were told they couldn't order

timely parody of Britney's song Lucky is on Rick.com,
where the subjects of her alleged smoking and romance with Justin are goofed
on.
September 19, 2000 - In perhaps
what is the first indication of the effect of Britney's comments about
her and Justin, a poll on YM.com
asking who's your favorite *NSYNC member has Lance surprisingly leading
Justin 29% to 25%.
September 19, 2000 - Foxnews.com
reveals that Sisqo is out with nice things to say about his former touring
mates *NSYNC, saying as a musician, he appreciates the intricate
nature of their art, and is impressed. Sisqo adds that they are "putting
R & B groups to shame."
September 18, 2000 - The
Pretenders front woman Chrissie Hynde is taking shots at Britney, *NSYNC,
and The Backstreet Boys for their commercials endorsing McDonalds and Burger
King. She says of the pop acts "People like that know the score, they've
made their choice. They know where the stuff comes from, they know what
a slaughterhouse is. That's their choice, that's what they want to represent
that's what they want to be part of. As a matter of fact I probably wouldn't
associate with people like that."
September 18, 2000 - Check
out Justin Timberlake picking up some Miracle Whip before heading back
to the hotel... Don't you think he can afford room service!?
September 17, 2000 - *NSYNC
and Christina Aguilera's outfits have sparked a renewed interest in the
Bedazzler, a do it yourself studder. The cofounder said of guys also using
it, "It can be done in a masculine way. Look at *NSYNC. Everything they
wear is Bedazzled."
September 17, 2000 - The
New York Daily News reports the sad news that Justin's been flying back
and forth to Memphis as his beloved grandfather is seriously ill.
September 17, 2000 - The
New York Post reports that *NSYNC will headline Denise Rich's annual G&P
Foundation gala for cancer research. The event will be held November 30th
at the Marriott Marquis in New York.
September 16, 2000 - The
New York Post reports that *NSYNC left the Latin Grammys after performing
as many did at the awards. Why? Well, as a non Spanish speaking attendee
told them "If you think English acceptance speeches are boring, try listening
to them in Spanish."
September 15, 2000 - For
those in despair over Britney's latest admissions of her and Justin being
in love, cynics have suggested this may be a smokescreen to cover other
romances by both singers. Time will tell.
September 15, 2000 - *NSYNC

September 14, 2000 - Huge
news from the latest edition of Elle as Britney finally admits her and
Justin are dating, saying "Justin and I totally laughed about it. I told
him during my show I would wear a big-ass ring just to keep people talking.
When you're really comfortable with someone you love, the silence is the
best. And that's how me and J are. When we're in a room together, we don't
have to say anything. And when we go out to a club, it's like we're the
only two people there. It's for real." She also reveals she may not be
a virgin, admitting her favorite TV show is HBO's Sex in the City because
"All the things they talk about are so true. Like one show was talking
about how guys can have sex without love, so women can do it too? And I
have girlfriends who do that. But I just really have to be into someone.

Ted Casablanca reports that *NSYNC was spotted in the lobby of L'Ermitage
in Bev Hills. While Britney wasn't there, Busta Rhymes and Chilli from
TLC were at the hotel.
September 13, 2000 - NSYNC
performed at tonight's first Latin Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Unfortunately

and Britney recently filmed a black and white commercial for Disney which
premiered on Sunday's Emmy awards.
September 13, 2000 - Eminem
on *NSYNC, Britney, and Christina all being at the VMAs "This is the one
night where you can fit all the people that I don't like into one room."
September 12, 2000 - From
two sources... Rick Dees reports Monday Britney was spotted smoking...
and making out with Justin Timberlake at Twirl. His sidekick Ellen K reports
Brit has been seen several times smoking. The New York Post claims they
may get the photos later this week of Britney smoking. Today the Post reported
that she was sitting in Justin's lap while sharing a smoke at Twirl.
September 12, 2000 - From
the message boards: Mitchell Fink from New York Daily News was on Showbiz
Today on CNN saying "Spears and Aguilera were getting along to the shock
of many in the club, but there was no question that both were vying for
the attention of Spears on again off again beau Justin Timberlake. Like
the Grammy's Christina won, Timberlake and the mini diva were all over
each other towards the end of the night. Yet, they left with seperate parties.
We all know Christina and Britney share the same personal stylist, but
boyfriends?"

is reporting a rumor that Britney had an animated conversation with a WNTQ
Syracuse DJ named Rick Roberts, telling him via cell phone after the show
"My outfit was daring, I told you that. There is no reason to be jealous,
I felt and looked sexy." Adding "Whatever Rick....you know I didn't do
it to make you mad. I knew you were going to call." So who is Rick? Check

Britney (58% say no currently). He admits "I am 19 years old....and a huge

September 11, 2000 - Pagesix.com's
Liz Smith is giving a big thumbs up to NSYNC's attitude at the VMAs saying
"I thought *NSYNC handled themselves very well, and were the really big
winners, walking off with the Viewers Choice Award. This group has the
fans, and they had the smarts to thank them from the stage."
September 11, 2000 - Carson
Daly is interviewed in this month's FHM where he admits "I can't afford
to fight. I mean if someone comes up and calls me a fag just because I
play *NSYNC, it would be irresponsible of me. But I get stuff like that
all the time." He later reveals "I went to a strip club in Atlanta after
the Super Bowl, and the guys from 98 Degrees were there, a couple of guys
from *NSYNC, Enrique Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, every big celebrity...
I don't see what the big deal is."
September 9, 2000 - The always
controversial GroupieCentral.com is back with their VMA report, saying
of Brit and Justin: "They were definitely together, hanging out at the
show and partying together afterwards. But we can tell you that this is
a case of she being more into him than he is with her. Justin has a roving
eye and was keeping his options open, if you know what we mean." They also
add "We also hear that Christina is very attracted to Justin Timberlake,
but Britney was making sure everyone knew that Justin was with Britney."
September 9, 2000 - Justin
interviewed on the Regis show last week said, "We're [him and Britney]
not getting married if that's what you're asking. There was a rumour about
me getting married. I'm not saying I wouldn't." Britney gave her typical
"We're just really good friends" response.
September 9, 2000 - Well
we've heard that Justin and Britney were sitting together at the VMAs and
pictures prove it to be the case.
September 8, 2000 - The Sun
reports that Britney Spears left Joe's Pub last night after the VMAs just
4 seconds after *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake.
September 7, 2000 - *NSYNC
took home Best Pop Video and Viewers Choice Awards at the VMAs tonight.
Justin said after the Viwer's Choice Award "We owe every thing to you guys
[the fans]... EVERTHING." Also Jimmy Fallon of SNL parodied NSYNC and got
in the line that the other NSYNC'ers thought Justin was cool "because you're
dating Britney Spears" and Jimmy added, "I heard she was dating Jimmy Fallon."
*NSYNC also got a sarcastic thumbs up from Kid Rock for their McDonalds
commercial.
September 7, 2000 - E! Online's
Ted Casablanca tells us that Justin and Britney are "definitely" looking
to buy a house together in Los Angeles, according to those close to *NSYNC.

reports Justin and Lance went to the US Open to meet Pete Sampras, their
hero. They report Pete and the two talked about tennis and music.
September 7, 2000 - EW.com
is running a an update on NSYNC doing their next video for This I Promise
You, and reveal they're re-recording a more up-tempo Top 40 friendly version
of the song, with the help of Hex Hector, who also added that the guys
were making up explicit lyrics between takes though he would only say ''It
would tarnish their wholesome schoolboy image if I told you what was sung."

*NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye as Video of the Year and Best Group Video, Eminem's
The Real Slim Shady for Best Male Video and Best Rap Video, and Christina
Aguilera's What a Girl Wants for Best Female Video.
September 5, 2000 - A representative
from Cosmogirl.com called into eYada.com today to reveal that Eminem voted
sexiest musician alive for their recent survey. Justin Timberlake had been
leading for most of the competition.
September 5, 2000 - NSYNC
was on TRL today talking to Carson about their performance scheduled Thursday
at the VMAs.

ad in magazines now promoting the Video Music Awards Thursday.
September 1, 2000 - Puffy
Combs will be throwing a party at John's Lane Farm in East Hampton, New
York Saturday and *NSYNC will be on hand. The public is invited,
but it's for parents and kids.
