April 20, 2001 - The New York Post reports David Spade walked out on Joe Dirt halfway through the premiere at the Beverly Connection in Los Angeles on Saturday, prompting a source to laugh, "It was that bad."

April 18, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports that a Easter Bunny dressed Kid Rock belted out a blues rhapsody about what he'd do if he were President at the Cutting Room in New York Sunday. April 10, 2001 - The Star profiled James King's battle with heroin and the emotional support she received from Kid Rock when the two were going out. Now that the two are separated, friends are worried, "Without his support, James could be in big trouble. She may even slip back into addiction." James insists she's been sober for three years and "if I hadn't gone through what I did, I don't think I'd be as joyful as I am now."

April 4, 2001 - Fresh after dumping Kid Rock, James King is reportedly dating 20 year old actor and Columbia University student Jake Gyllenhaal. A spokesman for King said, "They're just really good friends. They met through the business in L.A."

April 4, 2001 - Kid Rock will perform a duet with Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall next Tuesday in the VH1 Divas Live concert which also features Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Jill Scott and Marc Anthony.
