reports Kid Rock admits his father wasn't too pleased with his track 'You
Never Met A Motherf**ker" Like Me' in which he refers to his pop as a 'di**'.
Kid Rock said, "It's not his favorite song but he knows that's how I felt
when I was younger. At the same time, I'm thankful for the fact he made
me work every f**king weekend -- up at seven in the morning, hauling brush
and chopping wood."

30, 2001 - MTV.com has several photos of Kid Rock, Jennifer Lopez, and
Ja Rule at the USO Special For The Troops on the Ramstein Airforce base

December 30, 2001 - The Associated
Press reports Pamela Anderson and fiancee Kid Rock spent Wednesday night
with about two dozen friends and relatives at Bath City Bistro, eating
and feather bowling. For those not knowing what feather bowling is, or
99.9% of us, it is rolling wooden discs as close as possible to a feather

reports a Shelby Cobra that Kid Rock had in his garage was destroyed after
a mysterious electrical fire. Unfortunately, the car wasn't even his and
he had to make an uncomfortable call. Kid Rock revealed to a source details
of his phone conversation, "I've got some good news and bad news. The good
news is your car is done - I put the [best] radio you could in it. Shined
it up for you. The bad news is it burned down today in a garage fire."
Kid Rock had exchanged rides with the unnamed victim for his 1967 Lincoln
convertible.

Clarke of The Las Vegas Review Journal reports a few months ago, Pamela
Anderson and Kid Rock pulled up in a limo, carried drinks into the Wedding
Bells Chapel behind the Peppermill and made extensive inquiries about a
quickie ceremony, according to his spies.
December 27, 2001 - The Associated
Press talked with Kid Rock about his hopes people will focus on his music
and not his image. He states, "I think people are starting to understand
that I am a musician; that is what I focus on. And then we add the antics,
and I think that's what rock 'n' roll is. Make sure the talent's there,
add the antics, charge the admission, and everybody have a good time."

reports Kid Rock took several servicemen to a local Burger King and phoned
up fiancee Pamela Anderson to speak with the star-struck soldiers following
his performance at Ramstein air base in Germany. Kid Rock said later, "I
was raised patriotic. I couldn't wait to go. We drank a whole lot of beers
with the soldiers. All I wanted to do was hang out with them. I almost
felt selfish because it made me feel so good."
December 22, 2001 - Kid Rock's
latest album 'Cocky' has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry
Association Of America or shipping 1 million copies. While the album has
sold about half that, RIAA certifications are based on units shipped to
stores. The album is currently at #27 on the charts.

Rachel Wells talked with Kid Rock about what's the reason behind his popularity
with American servicemen and servicewomen as he explains, "Because I call
it like I see it. I tell people exactly how it is. I appreciate the freedoms
that I have and, you know, I've always been a pretty patriotic person and
I believe in America and it's the best country in the world. And that's
obviously what they're out fighting for. So they know that I have that
respect. É It's funny, everyone's out looking for American flags

Jeannette Walls reports Kid Rock has a new affection for animal friendly
behavior since he's dating animal rights activist Pamela Anderson. Said
an insider, "She’s cool and distant to him if he does anything that might
be not animal friendly. The other day, someone offered to let him try on
a really cool men’s fur coat, and Kid said no way. He said he couldn’t
have sex for a week if he touches fur."
December 18, 2001 - Much
Music spoke with Kid Rock about his use of sexy women used in his videos
in a way similar to hip hop videos causing Kid Rock to say, "When it comes
time for me to do a video I know personally it's like, do I want to stand
on a mountain and get all creative and wade around in water and have all
these weird images? No, get some girls, get some cars, light something
on fire, I'll sing a song, everyone's happy."
December 16, 2001 - The interview
Kid Rock did with Spin magazine for their December issue has been archived
on the magazine's site. Included in the article was a diss on Radiohead
and advice, "If you like Radiohead's record, don't buy mine. More power
to 'em, but I do not fu**in' get it. I put it on and I'm like, 'Where's

of the New York Post talked with Kid Rock about his marriage plans to Pamela
Anderson... Kid Rock replied, "There's always talk, about anybody in the
public eye, and that's OK. But my marriage plans are nobody's business.

has more details on Pamela Anderson ditching her promised appearance on
the Tonight Show Thanksgiving night when she blew off the event lying about
having a chest cold. Pam ended up boozing it up with boyfriend Kid Rock
causing an insider to fume, "It comes on the heels of her out-of-control
behavior on the set of 'V.I.P.' last season, when she was stumbling through
her scenes and forgetting lines. And it doesn't look as if she's let up

spoke with Uncle Kracker, the DJ in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band
about first week sales of Kid Rock's 'Cocky' album which many have said
was a disappointment. Cracker said, "I'm happy that it did what it did,
and obviously I wish it would've done better, but you know what? The last
one (Devil) didn't do so good when it came out, neither. (I'm) not saying
this isn't good. I mean, that's a lot more than I ever sold in one week.
That's more than a lot of people sell in a week, but it'll build. You know,
I think the next single will make a big difference, too."
December 8, 2001 - Kid Rock's
one-of-a-kind Gibson electric guitar made especially for him, is missing
and presumed stolen. The guitar, a new Gibson SG model custom-painted in
a 'stars and stripes' motif, was discovered missing by customs inspectors
overseas, where Kid Rock arrived this week on his way to an undisclosed
location to perform for U.S. servicemen and women as part of an MTV/USO

December 4, 2001 - Get ready
for a concert featuring Jennifer Lopez, Kid Rock, and Ja Rule as the three
artists will perform for troops on an MTV New Years' Day concert for The
United Service Organizations. The show will be hosted by Carson Daly and
will include not only a performance, but footage of the three mingling
with soldiers, and servicemen and women.
December 1, 2001 - The New
York Post reports Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, Uncle Kracker and Carson Daly
were spotted being hustled into the VIP room at Scores, the famous strip
club in the Big Apple. On top of that, Adrian Young of No Doubt stripped
naked and jumped into the pool at the new Maxim Lounge in Las Vegas as
stunned stars Leo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler and David Schwimmer watched.
