June 30, 2002 - Larry Katz
of the Boston Herald interviewed Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and asked
if he planned on jamming with Kid Rock and Run-D.M.C. when the three acts
embark on their tour later this summer. Tyler said, "Gotta do it. How do
you stay away from that? That's like me asking you, 'Larry, I know you're
interviewing Kid Rock next week and I know Pamela Anderson's gonna be with
him 'cause she's pregnant. Now, let me ask you, are you gonna be looking

29, 2002 - US Weekly has more details on how Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock
have patched things up. An insider said that the couple's arguing and his
drinking "reminded her of her first husband, and she didn't want to make
the same mistake twice." Apparently this feeling didn't last long though
as the insider added Anderson is "now calling all her friends to say she
and Kid reconciled and she got her [engagement] ring back."
June 23, 2002 - Kid Rock
commented to Karen Bliss of Rolling Stone on the suit, which was filed
on behalf of Microhits Music Corp. in U.S. District Court in California
on April 17th stating that Kid Rock's hit single 'Cowboy' borrows from
'I Wanna Be a Cowboy,' registered by the U.S. Copyright Office in 1989
by songwriters Brian Chatton, Nico Ramsden, Nick Richards and Jeff Scopardi.
Rock fumed, "Honestly, the only thing I know about that at this point is
[that there is] some attorney that buys rights to songs and tries to find
lyrics that match other lyrics. It's a 1-800 ambulance chaser thing." Read

was on Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn on Friday and shared his experience
meeting Pamela Anderson - and having a frank talk about her problems at
the time with Tommy Lee. Lillard claims credit in setting up Pam with Kid

June 22, 2002 - Jeff Niesel
of the Cleveland Free Times chatted with Poison frontman Bret Michaels
who shared his thoughts on the recently engaged Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson.
Michaels had dated Pam during her 'Baywatch' days and fought with Anderson
to block the sale of a porn tape featuring the two. "Hey, I hope it works
out," he revealed. "I broke her into the whole scene. I had to take her
to Metallica and Aerosmith and play the music for her to get her all fired
up. We were going down to Aerosmith, and [she’s] like, 'I don’t know any
of these songs.' I’m like 'Well, let me educate you real quick on Aerosmith.
They’re awesome. Once you see this, you’re gonna be hooked.' And we went
down there, and I took her to see Metallica, the Stones, Kiss. Ya know,
I think I should take the credit for breaking her into the scene." Read

reports Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, and his Twisted Brown Trucker band were
amongst those that partied after the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley
Cup championship Monday night. The bash at the Beach Grill in St. Clair
Shores also included the members of the hockey team, whom many are friends
with Rock. The celebration included Kid Rock performing several cover songs
as well as his own hits 'Cowboy,' 'American Bad Ass,' and 'Bawitdaba.'

Sun reports Kid Rock asked Canadian fans at the MuchMusic's Video Awards
on Sunday night if he had the country's permission to marry homegrown actress/pin-up
Pamela Anderson. "I think I might have done something wrong in asking Pamela
to marry me, and that is, I did not ask Canada's permission -- is it okay
Canada?" said Rock, during the final minutes of the two-hour-plus program.
I was just checking it out with Canada, since I'm the American bad ass

June 14, 2002 - In celebration

Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Ali, Musiq and Paul Westerberg discussing their

June 13, 2002 - Aerosmith,
Kid Rock and Run-D.M.C. will hit the road for 38 dates starting August
13 in Holmdel, New Jersey before wrapping up November 14 in Mountain View,
California. Aerosmith will be touring in support of their two-disc greatest-hits
collection, 'O, Yeah! - Ultimate Aerosmith Hits' which features two new
songs and is scheduled for a July 2 release date. For a full list of the

reports Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock's relationship is on the ropes, after
the two had a bitter two-day fight that included Rock publicly humiliated
her at The Academy of Country Music Awards in Los Angeles. An insider revealed,
"[Kid Rock had] been on a two-day drinking binge - Budweiser, Jack Daniel's,
Jim Beam, you name it." Adding, "He started shouting that Pam was a bad
mom and that sent her into complete shock. Anyone could see she was very

during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday, "Some sad news, Pamela Anderson
has called off her wedding to Kid Rock. What could have happened? The rumor
is, she got fed up with all his drinking. That's what they say. Let me
tell you, if you're choosing alcohol over Pamela Anderson, that's a drinking
problem."
June 7, 2002 - The New York
Daily News reports friends of Pamela Anderson are saying she still plans
on marrying Kid Rock. This despite reports earlier this week that she had
called off the ceremony because her fiancé won't quit drinking.
Anderson's rep wouldn't comment.
June 6, 2002 - The Daily
Star reports Pamela Anderson has ditched wedding plans with Kid Rock because
she's fed up with his drinking. The pair failed to show up to a planned
MTV Movie Awards appearance and a pal revealed, "They couldn't face being
seen in public. Kid has never lost his love for drinking but Pam has had
enough."

Kid Rock and Run-D.M.C. will be playing various dates on Aerosmith's upcoming
summer tour. The first date of the tour is August 13 in Holmdel, New Jersey,
at the PNC Bank Arts Center, and additional shows have been announced for
August 22 and 24 in Mansfield, Massachusetts, at the Tweeter Center and
on August 28 in Wantagh, New York, at Tommy Hilfiger at Jones Beach Theater,
according to the Web site of Aerosmith's official fan club. More dates

chatted with Kid Rock after his Academy Of Country Music Awards performance
with Hank Williams Jr. Kid rock said his exposure to country music began
as a child, "My parents are big country music fans, but when I was young
I wanted to play Black Sabbath and AC/DC and I didn't really appreciate
it, 'cause, you know, it just doesn't rock like that type of stuff does
when you want to rebel, but then as I got older, I learned to appreciate
it and the whole blues history behind it, 'cause I'm really a fan of the

the Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth show at the DTE Energy Music Theatre

Martinez of the El Paso Times spoke with Kid Rock who says today's music
is looking for a new direction. "Music today is in a big fog," Kid Rock
said. "A haze if you will. No one’s sure where it’s going, but I like that
