February 24, 2003 - Kid Rock
is no part of any anti-war movement, reports the New York Daily News. "Why
is everybody trying to stop the war," Rock asked. "George Bush ain't been
saying, 'You all, make sh**y records.' Politicians and music don't mix.
It's like whisky and wine. [Musicians] ought to stay out of it." But that
doesn't stop him from offering an opinion himself. "We got to kill that
motherfu**er Saddam," he says. "Slit his throat. Kill him and the guy in
North Korea." Read more.

February 22, 2003 - Kid Rock
is advocating parole for Richard Wershe Jr., an imprisoned drug kingpin.
"With Rick and I coming from the same type of background, I feel he would
be able to help youths from making the same mistakes he did by reaching
out to them and telling them the story of how drugs ruined his life," Kid
wrote to the Michigan Parole Board. Read more.

February 3, 2003 - Anonymous
writes "Kid Rock has the black community fuming over his latest remarks,
where he compares himself to Hitler. Over on Bet.com there is a heated
discussion where some blacks are asking for a boycott of 'Biker Boyz',
because Kid Rock appears in the movie. Then there is the subject of him
using the N word on one of his songs, him flying the rebel flag and Kid
Rock letting David Allen Coe open for him in 2000. From the looks of the
messages on the BET.com board, things look pretty bad for Kid Rock."
