June 29, 2003 - CNN aired
their interview with Kid Rock on Friday after they were forced to delay
the broadcast on Thursday. Rock talked about his visit to the Middle East
to perform for U.S. troops, his support for the war, and whether that support
had strained his relationship with Sheryl Crow, who had strongly opposed
military action. Rock was mum when asked about Pamela Anderson, but did
offer an opinion on Thursday's Supreme Court ruling overturning the Texas
sodomy law. Read on for a transcript.

her why she's shocked when she goes out with someone like Kid Rock or Tommy
Lee and then everyone wants to know about it. Howard told her that she
brought them through the whole relationship so she should talk about the
break-up with Kid Rock. Howard said he heard that Pam was messing around
with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and Kid Rock found out about it. Pam
said that's not what happened and she has only spoken to him. She met him
at this Playboy party she was at and that was it. Howard went on to talk
about how cool Kid Rock was about Pam and how in love he seemed to be when
he was with her. Pam said that Tommy Lee is the father of her kids and
will always be in her life. Howard seems to think that she's back together
with Tommy but she said she's not. She said she's got 'Stripperella' coming
out on TNN tonight and this Tommy Lee/Kid Rock thing is getting in the
way. Read more.

here with family and friends. That might be a hint." The romance troubles
may lead to yet another reconciliation with Tommy Lee, as the pair were

June 16, 2003 - An insider
tells People magazine that Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson, who have been
engaged for more than a year, have called it quits. Reps for Anderson and
Rock refused to comment. However, Mike Shafer, a Michigan bar owner and
friend of Rock's, denies there's a rift. "They are not broken up," he says
flatly. The couple spent the weekend apart, with Pamela attending a softball
game in Malibu with her ex-husband Tommy Lee and their two sons, while
Rock cruised the Caribbean on the yacht of country singer Kenny Chesney.
"This weekend was her son's birthday, and Pam gave [Kid] permission to
be away," Shafer explained. "He went to Knoxville to do a show with Kenny
Chesney, and then he went to the Virgin Islands to record some music."
