"Pam thinks the world of Kid, but she has this bond with Tommy Lee that she just can't seem to break," a source explained. "Kid got ffed up with sharing her with Tommy and told Pam, 'That's it'."

February 19, 2004 - Blender magazine caught up with Kid Rock and asked him how he can be a good father. "It's a balance. I think we're all a little overdramatic about our kids nowadays. I go watch my kid play floor hockey - they're all playing with foam pads on the end of their sticks because nobody wants his kids to get hurt. You have to let them get banged up a little and experience life." His advice on how to be a man? "Don't be a di**," he responded. "Have one, just don't be one."

February 19, 2004 - Blender magazine readers submitted questions to Sheryl Crow and one asked about the rumor that had her romantically linked to 'Picture' partner Kid Rock. "No!," Crow insisted. "I went to a Knicks game with him. I really love him, though. He's a good boy." Crow was also asked if she liked any metal bands. "Not especially," she admitted, "but if I were going to choose one, it would be Metallica, just because they've stood the test of time."

February 14, 2004 - While the Senate Commerce Committee summoned Viacom's Mel Karmazin so that members could harangue him about CBS's Super Bowl halftime show, the Democrat in name only Georgia Senator Zell Miller taped his own review in the Senate recording studio. "I don't know how many of you have ever run over a skunk with your car," he said. "I have many times, and I can tell you, the stink stays around for a long time. You can take the car through the wash, and it's still there. So the scent of this Super Bowl halftime show will long linger in the nostrils of America. The thing that yanked my chain the hardest was seeing this ignoramus with his pointed head stuck up through the hole he had cut in the flag of the United States of America, yelling about having 'a bottle of Scotch and watching lots of crotch.' That did it for me. This is the same flag we pledge allegiance to, the same flag that is draped over the coffins of dead young uniformed warriors killed while protecting Kid Crock's bony butt. He should be tarred and feathered and ridden out of this country on a rail. Now there's you a good reality show."

February 11, 2004 - Us Weekly reports Kid Rock and Jaime Pressly have been spotted on three separate dates since Rock played the Super Bowl. A spy revealed that during their 'Joe Dirt' co-star David Spade's show at Hollywood's Improv comedy club last week, "Kid rubbed her legs and stomach."

February 5, 2004 - Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC, Kid Rock, Nelly, and Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs performed during the halftime show at Super Bowl XXXVIII between the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers at Reliant Stadium on Sunday (February 1) in Houston, Texas. February 5, 2004 - The commander-in-chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. is outraged with U.S. media organizations for ignoring the blatant and disgusting desecration of the U.S. flag by Kid Rock during Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show. During the halftime performance, Kid Rock slit a hole in the flag and wore it as a poncho. Edward S. Banas Sr., Voluntown, Conn., said the media have made much of Janet Jackson's raunchy and nearly lewd act, but they have ignored Kid Rock's inappropriate and disrespectful use of the American flag. "While MTV and CBS have issued apologies for the Janet Jackson incident, they have yet to address Kid Rock's disgusting use of an American flag as a costume prop. The 1.6 million members of the VFW agree that Kid Rock's stunt was in poor taste and extremely disrespectful to the members of our armed forces who everyday pledge their allegiance--and their life--to our flag," Banas said. "I find it unconscionable that the entire news media, along with CBS, the NFL and MTV, have yet to address this." Read more.

Jay joked, "It was quite a show wasn't it – there was a streaker, Janet Jackson's breast was exposed and Kid Rock wore an American flag as a poncho. I was surprised that John Ashcroft's head didn’t explode during that thing."

February 5, 2004 - The Boston Herald reports that the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and 4,000 of their nearest and dearest including Aerosmith, Kid Rock and Snoop Dogg, partied until 5 a.m. at the team's InterContinental Hotel in Houston, in a Super-sized party that was finally shut down because the hotel guests were coming down for breakfast. February 5, 2004 - Conservatives are in an uproar after Kid Rock wore a flag with an opening to put his head through at the Super Bowl halftime show in Houston. A poster at FreeRepublic.com writes, "So many people do not realize this is an inappropriate way to display our flag. He is a strong supporter of the troops. February 1, 2004 - Pamela Anderson was on the Howard Stern show on Thursday and was asked what happened to cause her breakup to fiance Kid Rock. She said that she just didn't want that whole thing where Kid Rock would call her and tell her he loves her when he's probably out banging other chicks. She said she didn't want to be that person and didn't want to be banging the pool guy while he's off on tour. She said that ex-husband Tommy Lee has some other chicks in his life. She said he just needs to be a good father and take care of himself. She said that they're still good friends. Read more.
