York Daily News reports President Bush's daughters turned out for Kid Rock's
Wednesday night show at nightclub Avalon and danced, drank, and sang the
night away in a tightly guarded upstairs VIP box opposite the stage. After
Rock's set, the twins earnestly tried to lead the hundreds of beer-drenched,

16, 2004 - The New York Post hears that the GOP is reaching out to Kelsey
Grammer, Lee Ann Womack, Kid Rock, Dennis Miller, Britney Spears and country
stars Brooks & Dunn in hopes that they'll lend some star power to the
Republican National Convention.
August 9, 2004 - Pamela Anderson
tells Howard Stern she split with ex-lover Brett Michaels of Poison because
he wouldn't stop having orgies with groupies. "He liked the buffet," Anderson
revealed. "I wanted the a la carte. I wanted one man." Stern administered
a lie detector test to Anderson, which got her to admit that she's messed

August 9, 2004 - The Las
Vegas Review Journal reports Jaime Pressly has managed to keep her romance
with Golden Nugget co-owner Tom Breitling off the national radar screen.
She told People magazine in its August 9th issue that her boyfriend "is
a businessman, but I don't talk about him. The minute you talk about a
relationship, it ends. This is way too good for me to end." Why did her
relationship with Kid Rock fizzle? "I'm just not a rock star's girlfriend,"
she responded.
August 9, 2004 - The New
York Daily News reports Kid Rock paid homage to retired four-star Gen.
Tommy Franks Tuesday night at Frank's book party on the deck of the aircraft
carrier Intrepid. Kid Rock confided that once Iraq is stabilized, "we should
