Kid's claiming stories about his wild living and drug use are all media hype in court records, opposite of Kelley's claims.

September 20, 2000 - More details of Kid Rocks surprise performance at Joy, as the New York Daily news says "Never one to stand on formality, the high-spirited Kid dove through an opening of the deejay booth, brushed himself off, then spun records for an hour while swigging from a bottle." [was there any doubt alcohol was involved?!]

September 17, 2000 - The New York Post reports Kid Rock was spinning records in the VIP room at Joy as James King and Lars Ulrich watched, not to mention Survivor's Gervase.

September 16, 2000 - Kid Rock is rumored to have front row seats to watch his girlfriend, James King, at the Jill Stuart fashion show. She's supposedly going to be dressed like Brigitte Bardot, reports the New York Post.

September 13, 2000 - Kid Rock slammed the UK's Oasis saying "You want to see someone walking around the stage, go see Oasis. I love Oasis, but..... boringest f****** show in the world. I don't want to see that s***. I'll listen t the record and stay home -- you ain't getting my twenty f****** dollars. You should show 'em that you're spending some money on your show, that you actually give a f***." [Kid, I've seen 'em and I agree with ya]

September 13, 2000 - Anti Abortion group Rock For Life is praising Kid Rock for his song titled Abortion saying "If Kid Rock is willing to confirm the reality of post-abortion trauma in men who have participated in the killing of their pre-born children, then why does Big Abortion deny that post- abortion trauma exists?" They did however not endorse his music, lifestyle, or the song's idea of suicide.

September 8, 2000 - Kid Rock was interviewed by a drunken Howard Stern last night. Howard said he could see right through James' top. The whole interview went pretty bad because of his intoxication and he later admitted it was the worst interview he'd ever done and apologized to the audience for it.

September 8, 2000 - Kid Rock was on TRL today admitting that he enjoyed NSYNC's performance from a technical perspective, saying it was like Disneyworld. Kid also admitted to TRL guest correspondant Hillary Burton "I am [in-bred] and it's cool." [he was kidding!]

September 7, 2000 - Kid Rock presented along with The Rock for Best Dance Video, which Jennifer Lopez won. Kid said he thought NSYNC's commercial for McDonalds was better than Backstreet Boys commercial for Burger King, though he was being sarcastic obviously.

September 2, 2000 - Kid Rock told MTV that he plans on resting after heavy touring the last several months saying "I'll sleep for a couple of weeks, then we're going to try and set up shop somewhere in the boonies outside Detroit and get the studio put together and work on the Twisted Brown Trucker [Band] record, the new Kid Rock record, the Joe C. record, the Paradime record, the Howling Diablos record, the David Allan Coe record, and try and make some music and get it out throughout the course of the next year and the following years to come."

September 1, 2000 - In an interview with Metal-Sludge.com, porn star Jenna Jameson revealed she's never slept with Kid Rock, and when asked whether she prefers Kid or Limp Bizkit, she said "even." When asked if she's have sex with Kid on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a hottie, she said '2'.
