Karolina. Gisele Bundchen talked to the London Times where she addressed
rumors that she was soon to marry Leonardo DiCaprio. Gisele said, "I’ve
a lot of learning and living to be done before I get married, so many adventures
to live through. But then I would love to have children - one boy and two
girls."

24, 2001 - Variety reports Leonardo DiCaprio has been cast to play Alexander
the Great in an upcoming Martin Scorsese movie, Alexander. No production
date for the film has been set.
October 23, 2001 - Leonardo
DiCaprio came out with Robert DeNiro at the Concert for New York Saturday
to introduce a clip by director Martin Scorsese. Both wore black police
caps in support of police and firefighters onhand at the show.
October 22, 2001 - Leo DiCaprio
tells Cindy Adams at the Concert for New York, "It's an unbelievable heroism
that we're undergoing. I have a long-term connection to New York. I was
conceived here."
October 19, 2001 - E! Online's
Ted Casablanca reports Leo DiCaprio was spotted waiting for an outdoor
table at the Newsroom Cafe, without Gisele, rather 3 other guys.
October 19, 2001 - Leo DiCaprio
is pissed at reports he's unhappy with Gangs of New York, rather he feels
the opposite. Leo's spokesman states, "Leonardo DiCaprio says that the
experience of working on the film has been the highlight of his career.
He has never ever believed in a project more strongly than this one. Neither
he nor his representative has ever sought to renegotiate his contract.
And whomever is alleging that statement is lying."
October 16, 2001 - Liz Smith
reports Leonardo DiCaprio has softened for his fans as the star was approached
by a teenage girl while having lunch on Larchmont in L.A. wanting an autograph.
Leo said "Not right now," but later came to the girl's table signed his
name, kissed the girl on the cheek and apologized, saying, "I just hate
to be bothered when I'm eating."

is one of many film stars set to appear on the United We Stand What More
Can I Give show on October 21 in Washington D.C.
October 15, 2001 - Leonardo
DiCaprio is pictured with President Clinton on page 18 of this week's US
Weekly as part of their appearance at the American Oceans Campaign which
honored Clinton.
October 9, 2001 - MSNBC's
Jeannette Walls reports Leonardo DiCaprio is trying to renegotiate his
Gangs of New York deal to get a lump sum instead of percent of profits,
according to a source. Another told her, "Leo isn’t playing by the rules.
He made the film and signed the contract, now he shouldn’t be out there

Jeffrey Wells reports Miramax's claim for pushing back Gangs of New York
because of the terror attacks, according to a source, is "just an excuse

reports Gisele Bundchen is sick of Leo DiCaprio spending so much time on
the phone with Kate Winslet, as she's gone to cry on Leo's shoulder following
her split with Jim Threapleton. Gisele is convinced Kate has a crush on
Leo and is letting him know to toe the line.
October 6, 2001 - The New
York Daily News reports Leo DiCaprio commenting on New York saying, ""I
love the rhythm, the throb, the night life, the characters. New York's
the most exciting city in the whole world. That's it. Period. End of discussion."
October 5, 2001 - Variety
reports it is vitually certain that Gangs of New York won't be released
nationwide until 2002, but may be released the last week of 2001 on a limited

DiCaprio and Sylvester Stallone were among the celebrities gathered to
honor former President Bill Clinton on Tuesday at a star-studded Los Angeles

York Post reports Leonardo Di Caprio commissioned a bronze bust of
himself from artist Kenneth Kendall, but still hasn't picked up the artwork
even though it has been finished for a year.
