Fink of The New York Daily News reports he's hearing that the Michael Mann
planned film on Howard Hughes which was to have Leo DiCaprio play the lead
is in trouble as the competing Castle Rock film on Hughes, starring Jim
Carrey, appears to be the one that will get made first.

20, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca explained his publishing details
of a private conversation with Leonardo DiCaprio saying, "Was I being inhuman
by reporting this fact? No. Otherwise, it would be like telling L.D. not
to cash those $20 million paychecks in case it looked like he was taking
advantage of the studios. Please. It's what he does, it's what I do."

gossip guru Ted Casablanca ran into Leonardo DiCaprio at the Motorola holiday
gig at the Highlands in Hollywood. Leo recognized Ted and said, "I remember
you. I see your stuff on the Internet."
December 8, 2001 - The New
York Daily News reports Martin Scorsese is branding his choice of the actor
to play Alexander the Great in his upcoming movie, Leonardo DiCaprio, as
the perfect choice. Scorsese said, "There is a bust of Alexander, and it
bears an amazing resemblance." As for Alexander's homosexuality, he said,
"We have to deal with the whole life of Alexander. We want to deal as honestly
as
possible with it all."
December 3, 2001 - The New
York Daily News reports their spies have spotted Gisele Bundchen and Leonardo
DiCaprio in Hawaii, where Gisele is doing a Victoria's Secret shoot.

reports an anonymous insider at Gisele Bundchen's agency, IMG has flatly
denied reports in The Sun Friday that she and Leo DiCaprio have split.
The insider called the reports "absolute nonsense" and added, "They are
still very much an item. She is on holiday with him right now and everything
is great between them."
December 1, 2001 - The New
York Post reports Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, Uncle Kracker and Carson Daly
were spotted being hustled into the VIP room at Scores, the famous strip
club in the Big Apple. On top of that, Adrian Young of No Doubt stripped
naked and jumped into the pool at the new Maxim Lounge in Las Vegas as
stunned stars Leo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler and David Schwimmer watched.
