February 27, 2002 - IMDB
reports Leo has been turned into a work of art - by artist Amy Adler. Leo
sat for Adler for a series of photographs last year when both were living
in London. Adler then created pastel drawings of the actor's likeness from
six chosen photos and then photographed her drawings. The finished six
huge Cibachrome prints, simply entitled Amy Adler's Photographs of Leonardo
DiCaprio, make up part of a new show at Los Angeles' UCLA Hammer Museum.

27, 2002 - The Enquirer reports Leo and Gisele shocked friends while partying
in Las Vegas when they announced to friends in the early morning, "We're
getting married!" The two suggested a quickie Vegas wedding and Gisele
wanted the ceremony performed by an Elvis impersonator. But shocked friends
told them it was a bad idea and reminded them of their rocky relationship,
so they dropped the idea.
February 20, 2002 - MSNBC's
Jeannette Walls reports a spokesperson for Leonardo DiCaprio has responded
to news that President Bush has never heard of him. The spokesman said,
"Leo is a strong Gore supporter and a strong environmentalist, and is grateful
that the president never heard of him."
February 13, 2002 - US Weekly
reports Leo and Gisele's relationship appeared to be on shaky ground at
the opening of Las Vegas nightclub Light. An insider said, "They didn't
speak and spent the night standing on opposite sides of the club." Meanwhile,
another insider said, "They're still fighting and are on the rocks." Another
stood up for the pair's chances saying, "That's their relationship, but
they're together."
February 11, 2002 - The New
York Daily News reports New York Times reporter Frank Bruni's book on President
Bush includes news that he was so out of touch with pop culture he had
never heard of actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
February 9, 2002 - Shelby
Loosch of the Globe reports that the night Leo reportedly sped off in a
limo with Heather Graham after leaving a Los Angeles nightclub, he was
first greeted by a drunk fan who said, "Leo, I love you!" before vomiting
on his shoes. Leo was gracious though saying, "Thanks so much, darling."
February 8, 2002 - Katrillion
reports Leo wrote a letter to MTV news (though I can't seem to find it)
telling fans his opinion on Congress' possible decision to drill oil in
the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. He is opposed to the move and is declaring
a clean-energy revolution, asking everyone to write to Congress about the
harmful effects of drilling oil in the treasured wildlife refuge. He cited
his Toyota Prius as an example of what people can do to save energy.
February 5, 2002 - Dees Sleaze
reports Leonardo DiCaprio and Heather Graham reportedly were spied more
than once having a great night at a his Hollywood Hills mansion after they
left a club in the back of a limo together.
February 2, 2002 - The New
York Post reports Gisele Bundchen had her purse nabbed while dancing at
the opening of Light in Las Vegas. The guy took off with $1,000 and her
photo ID. Gisele ended up flying home in a private jet with boyfriend Leonardo
DiCaprio.
