March 29, 2004 - During a raucous Democratic Party fundraiser Thursday night at Dream, the hot dance club in Northeast Washington, deejay Biz Markie kept promising the young, well-lubricated crowd that Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs and Leonardo DiCaprio were in the house as part of the festivities with rapper Q-Tip, 'The View's' Star Jones, Al Sharpton, Hillary Rodham Clinton and the biggest names of all: former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. But neither Puffy nor Leo showed up. Turns out Leo was never scheduled to appear, his spokesman told us. And though the Democratic National Committee had hoped to score an appearance by Diddy, he couldn't break away from rehearsals for his Broadway debut. Read more.

March 25, 2004 - A caller told Howard Stern that he was at the Knicks game on Friday night right behind him, while Stern was sitting next to Leonardo DiCaprio and Ethan Hawke, but he didn't say a word to them. Howard told the caller he didn't go there to talk to anyone, he was there to see the game. Howard said he wasn't looking to talk to Leonardo even though he thinks he's a good actor. Ethan Hawke was there as well but he wasn't looking to get into a discussion with them. There were a bunch of other celebrities there and all he wanted to do was watch the game. 

March 22, 2004 - Virginie Ledoyen is known to American audiences for her hot underwater love scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in 'The Beach,' but the French actress tells The New York Daily News as a smoocher, Leo loses to a 67-year-old. "Leo's not as good a kisser as Marcello Mastroianni" was, Ledoyen says. In 1991, at age 13, she co-starred with the Italian sex symbol in a French film, 'The Children Thief'. Spies say there were lots of girls, many of whom looked to be on the clock, in bikinis or less. "Leonardo DiCaprio was pushing them in the pool, having a great time," a source says.

The society doyenne Suzy says this is where Gisele was 'discovered' in a shopping center only 10 years ago when she was a 14-year-old. Leonardo, about to be seen as Howard Hughes on the big screen, will be 30 years old on November 11. So maybe he is ready to settle down. And nuptials among Gisele's friends and family in Brazil may keep this event from being a Jennifer-Ben-type media smash-up."
