York Post reports Leonardo DiCaprio schmoozed with the still-vital 87-year-old
veteran Ernest Borgnine. When Borgnine said, "Watch your money, kid, there
are a lot sharks out there." Leo replied: "Thank you, sir. I know that.
Fortunately, I learned it at an early age."

in West Hollywood. "Gisele looked like she was returning a bunch of phone
cellphone calls," a witness said. "He kept trying to get her to just chill
out and take a minute to relax."
August 23, 2004 - The New
York Post reports Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted snuggling with Gisele Bundchen
on an American Airlines flight from New York to Los Angeles.

York Daily News reports young women were screaming so loudly at the Democratic
rally in Portland, Ore., Friday, it was hard to hear Leonardo DiCaprio
say, "I haven't been that active in political campaigns before today. But
this is the most important election of my lifetime. We can't sit this one

Walls of MSNBC.com reports Leonardo DiCaprio and Gisele thrilled fans in
her native Brazil with a romantic romp to various parts of the country,
according to a source there. When they visited Sao Paulo, however, they
stayed holed up in their suit at the Hotel Emiliano, apparently to avoid
photographers. "Leo doesn't speak a single word in Portuguese," says our
source. "Whenever he wanted to call room service, he would say in English,
'Hi. It's me again.'"
August 16, 2004 - Leonardo
DiCaprio's neighbors are crying foul over his plans to build a basketball
court outside his West Hollywood mansion. The hoops-loving superstar has
permission from the city to install a regulation-size court in his yard,
complete with floodlights for nighttime use. What's worse, to make way
for the court, DiCaprio cut down several trees on his property line. "The
view of the house next to his is completely destroyed," one neighbor told
The New York Post.

Herald reports Matt Damon will team up with John Kerry fan Leonardo DiCaprio
for Martin Scorsese's new thriller 'The Departed.' The flick will be set
in Boston and is the story of an Irish-American gangster (Damon) who has
infiltrated the Boston Police Department. DiCaprio will play a cop who's
been undercover in the mob and is starting to become unglued. No word on
whether the movie will actually be filmed in Boston.
August 9, 2004 - 'Extra'
reports that at Thursday night's Rock the Vote party, attendees who included
the ever-present Ben Affleck, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, turned out
