August 30, 2000 - Well despite the Daily New's reports that Leo was 'superbly buffed' entertaindom.com now reports that Leo has "stunned the Italian public with his new image -- a stomach big enough to brand him a "Beach" whale." They joke Leo may have ate a few too many plates of pasta in Rome.

August 29, 2000 - Another poster on the message boards has provided us a couple of links of Leo pictures from Rome... Thanks.

August 28, 2000 - A message board poster tells us Leo's currently in Rome, Italy as of last Thursday start filming his new movie Gangs Of New York.

August 26, 2000 - Leo's autographed picture is up for bids on ebay. The photo (item #415731139 ) is bid at $$10.50 and the auction wraps up August 27th.

August 24, 2000 - The New York Daily News reports Leo and Gisele were seen walking the Malibu beaches near his home and that Leo looked "looked superbly buffed" after having looked rather chunky earlier in the year.

August 24, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca has a story entirely the opposite of the Daily News' as he reports she's having a wandering eye and "Gisèle has made advances toward a rising actor who's certainly not interested in getting a rise out of the good-lookin' vixen." He also implies later in the article that Leo had a relationship that he couldn't discuss without getting sued... [that should be pretty easy to interpret... we just wonder, who is he.. in both cases?]

August 22, 2000 - Pagesix.com's Cindy Adams reports the interesting fact that Leo DiCaprio's dad sold comic books. And Beverly Hills Madam Heidi Fleiss' dad was Leo DiCaprio's pediatrician.

August 15, 2000 - Well our story August 6th appears to not refer to Gisele, rather Ed Burns and Heather Graham. In fact, Star magazine reports that Leo is crazy about Gisele's Yorkshire. He bathes and walks the dog and bought Gisele a $1000 Louis Vuitton dog carrier so Vita can travel in style.

August 12, 2000 - Leo's autographed picture is up for bids on ebay. The photo (item #403559679) is unbid at $24.99 and the auction wraps up August 14th.

August 9, 2000 - Leonardo DiCaprio will be profiled in a series for the BBC called "The Human Face", which deals with beautiful faces. Elizabeth Hurley and John Cleese will host the show.

August 6, 2000 - Well maybe the Gisele dog incident was no accident (see our Gisele page for more info), as Pagesix.com ran the following blind item that suspiciously points to Leo and Gisele: WHICH movie hunk dumped his gorgeous girlfriend just as he was buying himself a TriBeCa loft because she was less than sympathetic while his dog was dying of cancer? When she tossed the suffering pet from the bedroom, he tossed her.

August 5, 2000 - Leonardo is mentioned extensively in an article by Sara Nolan profiling actors who've put on too many pounds drinking, eating, and partying, where he's dubbed Leo "Puffy" DiCaprio.

August 3, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca is reporting that perhaps Leo and Gisele aren't as close as the Star reports. Those that work with Leo report he hasn't been around Gisele as often as he has in the past. Ted also reveals Leo has lost been looking rather svelte, likely having lost weight of late.

August 1, 2000 - Star magazine reports Leo has won Gisele back after Diniz made a attempt to get back together with her in Brazil. Gisele reportedly turned down all the couture fashion shows in Paris and the thousands she would have made to spend time with Leo in Hollywood.
