July 26, 2000 - Leonardo DiCaprio is talking with DreamWorks about playing the youngest man to make the FBI's most-wanted list. In Catch Me If You Can he'd star as Frank Abagnale, a forger who became a consultant to the bureau, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

July 20, 2000 - A photographer at New York's Spa was roughed up by Leonardo DiCaprio's bodyguard for taking pictures even though he didn't know Leo was even there, reports the New York Daily News. He says the bodyguard ripped up the film even though he offered to expose it.

July 20, 2000 - Chic Happens reports that Leonardo DiCaprio was dumped by Gisele Bundchen in favor of billionaire Joao-Paulo Diniz, whom Gisele was getting friendly with during a recent trip to Brazil, as we reported earlier. Gisele was said to have dropped the news by telephone. DiCaprio currently is being linked to his former Growing Pains co-star, Tracy Gold.

July 11, 2000 - The Star reports that after best friend Toby Maguire broke up with Rashida Jones, Leo set up a 25th birthday party at an LA club with a 3-1 ratio of women to men.

July 9, 2000 - This month's Spin magazine has a piece about Matchbox 20 where Rob Thomas talks about meeting Leo and introducing himself, only to be brushed off from the actor.

July 9, 2000 - Pagesix.com's VA Musetto, movie critic, was on a Yahoo chat last week, where he was asked about Titanic. His thoughts: "It was awful, Leonardo DiCaprio is a lousy actor, the plot was dumb." When asked if there would be a sequel, he said "I hope not" [ouch]

July 6, 2000 - Star Magazine reports that Gisele has gained 10 pounds after going out with Leo because all he wants to do is eat. She says she'll be doing plus size modeling if he can't convince him to go on a diet. [maybe she's working it off with Joao-Paulo Diniz?]

July 5, 2000 - The NY Daily News reports that Leo's rep is saying there isn't going to be a summer house webcam for Leonardo and Gisele, as has been reported.

July 4, 2000 -  Gisele apparently hooked up with her ex-flame, billionaire playboy Joao-Paulo Diniz, who owns a restaurant in the city. Diniz was spotted leaving Gisele's apartment late Wednesday night according to the New York Post. In addition, Diniz is throwing a party for Gisele this weekend at his island beach house.
