May 18, 2000 - Access Hollywood had Gisele on tonight clearing up rumors of her and Leonardo being an item. She said that she is single, and scoffed at NY Daily New's Mitchell Fink's assertion that her and Leo will be sharing a summer home in the Hamptons, saying they aren't even going to vacation together this summer let alone live together. She seemed quite pissed about the whole thing.

May 13, 2000 - Leonardo and Gisele are rumored to be renting a summer place in the Hamptons along with Tobey Maguire and model Carmen Kass, according to sources telling the New York Daily News.

May 9, 2000 - Apparently Gisele was at Spa last week but the two danced separately in an attempt to diffuse rumors of their romance, though witnesses tell the NY Post that when she left, she tapped Leo on the shoulder and waited outside for him.

May 7, 2000 - The New York Post reports that Leonardo DiCaprio is so smitten with Gisele that he's promised her he'll cut down on his drinking and partying and will lose all the weight he's recently gained, according to his friends. That said, the Post says he was at Spa a few days ago hitting on model Rhea Durham.

May 6, 2000 - Cameron Diaz is in negotations with producers to star opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming Martin Scorsese drama Gangs of New York.
