September 30, 2000 - The
Star is reporting that Matthew McConaughey may be moving in on Leo's action
with Gisele. Apparently Gisele went to a party and ended up in a room alone
with Matthew. When Leo confronted Gisele about this, she fumed that she
didn't want a jealous possessive boyfriend. Apparently now that he's in
Rome, Leo's depressed since he can't keep an eye on her.

27, 2000 - Check out Chaunce Hayden's blistering of Leo DiCaprio in last
Saturday's archive about 1/2 hr into his show. He predicts Leo will have
the figure of Marlon Brando, amongst other insults.
September 27, 2000 - Speaking
of Leo's figure, Britain's Sunday Mail reports that Martin Scorcese has
forced DiCaprio on a strict diet as well as two hours a day on an exercise
bike to slim down. An Italian fan who saw Leo was quoted as saying "I hardly
recognized him. He really does seem to have a serious weight problem."
September 27, 2000 - Surprisingly,
61.2% of you think Leo deserves $20 million per movie in our most recent
poll. We assume these same people don't complain of higher prices at the
theater...
September 26, 2000 - Variety
is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio has signed a deal to star in Johnny
Eck, a true story about twin brothers Robert and Johnny Eckhardt, who was
born without the lower half of his body.
September 23, 2000 - Billy
Elliot directory Stephen Daldry on Jamie Bell: ""Jamie Bell is a star.
[The media] is saying, 'This is the new Leonardo DiCaprio.' " Yeah, but
can Leo dance?"
September 23, 2000 - Leo's
autographed picture is up for bids on ebay. The photo (item #441712803)
is bid at $9 and the auction wraps up Sunday.
September 21, 2000 - Italian
newspaper Il Messaggero is reporting witnesses who say Leo is ballooning
in weight, "He has put on weight, I hardly recognized him. Before, he was
a sweetie, but now, with his beard, dark glasses and a few extra kilos,

Walls is reporting that Scorsese has installed a gym in his room to make
sure that DiCaprio slims down, although his spokesman said "We don’t engage
in answering any of these nonsensical rumors. He’s in great shape and works
out all the time. Beyond that, I’m not going to comment."
September 18, 2000 - The
London Times is reporting that Leo is exhibiting eccentric habits during
his stay in Europe. A hotel staff worker in Italy reveals "When he is finished
with his clothes for the day, he throws them away. He even throws away
the scissors he uses to trim his beard"
September 16, 2000 - Undress
for MS -- Yahoo Celebrity Jeans Auction netted $22,700 for Leo's jeans,
tops amongst all celebrities who participated, even Britney Spears.
September 15, 2000 - entertaindom.com
reports that Leo is banned from Fenix bar in the Argyle Hotel on LA's Sunset
Strip. Seems Leo and friends got out of control, as a source revealed Leo
knows he's not welcome back. He turned up one night with about 20 friends
and they totally trashed the place. They went out into the backyard and
smashed bottles everywhere, and broke furniture -- no one was impressed."
September 14, 2000 - Ted
Casablanca is revealing that women in Rome are practically stalking Leo
by staking out hotels and restaurants near where he's staying. While the
starstruck gals hope Leo would handpick them to star in future films, Ted
sets it straight saying "Night-mint missy, is more like it."
September 11, 2000 - Ted
Casablanca is commenting on Gisele, Leo, and Jennifer Love Hewitt saying
"I heard Love Hewitt wasn't interested in [Leonardo] or his baggage. By
the way, Gisele ended up being much wilder than Leo expected. Also, I heard
Tobey Maguire was more interested in Love Hewitt, but I don't believe it."
[now should we make anything into his cryptic comments on Leo's close
friend Toby and his equally cryptic comments on Leo himself a few weeks
back?]
September 9, 2000 - The New
York Post's V. A. Musetto interviewed Juliette Lewis, and she denied reports
that she ever dated Leo saying "Brad's the only famous actor I ever dated."
September 9, 2000 - Leo's
autographed picture is up for bids on ebay. The photo (item #431810121)
is bid at $24.95 and the auction wraps up September 12th.
September 7, 2000 - Leo so
far is top bid getter in an auction for celebrity pants, as Japanese bidders
have pushed the price to $30,000 for his autographed jeans. Procedes go
to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
September 3, 2000 - The Star
reports the stars of Growing Pains are returning for a reunion episode
but Leo won't be with them. DiCaprio is too big of a star to join them,
and Alan Thicke joked "I understand he's been busy."
September 2, 2000 - Leo's

is bid at $12.49 and the auction wraps up September 8th.
September 1, 2000 - In an
interview with Metal-sludge.com, porn star Jenna Jameson says she has never
slept with Leo.
