Post reports Britney Spears, Elton John, Nelly, B2K and Lil' Bow Wow will
be among those who serve as presenters at the MTV Video Music Awards, August
29th at Radio City Music Hall. As previously announced, Bruce Springsteen,
Pink and Eminem will perform.

30, 2002 - TeenMusic.com (WENN) reports Lil' Bow Wow says his biggest disappointment
to date is having nothing solid to show off after getting into the Guinness
Book of Records for becoming the youngest rapper ever to score a platinum
record. "I didn't know that I would be in there," he admits. "I opened
up the book and I said, `Wait a minute, there's me in here. It was big
for me but I didn't get no plaque for my wall. I just got a big book."

July 18, 2002 - 3LW stopped
by MTV's Total Request Live on Wednesday to premiere their new video 'I
Do (Wanna Get Close To You)' featuring Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs and Loon.
The girls also talked about the line on their new album saying, "I hang
with big doggs, so what's a little Bow Wow?" They explained, "All we have
to say about that Lil' Bow Wow doin' his thing, we over that now and we

July 17, 2002 - Lil' Bow
Wow chatted with fans on TeenPeople.com yesterday and was quizzed about
the opposite sex. When asked if he liked ghetto girls, Bow Wow said, "Yes.
Love 'em! Love all kinds of girls." As for if he's ever been dumped, Bow

July 14, 2002 - Barry Koltnow
of The Orange County Register chatted with Lil' Bow Wow and when asked
where he planned to be in five years, Bow Wow replied, "I don't know; I
feel like I've done everything. The only thing I'm missing is a Grammy.
I've got the keys to five cities I've never heard of. I have a street named
after me. I've accomplished more in the last five years than a lot of people."
So does this mean Bow Wow will retire? "There are other things I'd like

Wow talked with Alloy.com and said his character Calvin in 'Like Mike'
won't make him come off as a goody-goody to fans. "Not at all," he insisted.
"That's why they call it acting. You're acting like somebody. That's the
whole point. It's like when Halle Berry did 'Losing Isaiah'. That was acting.
Look at her -- she didn't brush her teeth for three weeks. She did the
movie with her hair messed up. That was acting. Can't mess up your image.
It's just entertainment. And, you know, my fans really understand that.
They're not even gonna look at it that hard. That's how that is." Read

of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution chatted with Lil' Bow Wow about his
role in the film 'Like Mike' and whether he is serious about playing professional
basketball. Bow Wow says he's "very" serious about the claim saying, "Jermaine
is always telling people, 'Bow would play basketball 24-7 if he could,'
and that's true. I'm serious about my music. I mean my dreams have come
true as a rapper. Now I'm working on my other dream, playing in the NBA."

Tan of The Baltimore Sun reports Lil' Bow Wow has admitted that he may
walk away from the rap game at least for awhile to concentrate on other
things when he turns 18. "I definitely want to make more movies, more albums,
and then I'll probably be 18, and then I'll be like, 'You know what? Let
me walk away for a minute,'" he revealed. "I want to go to school, go to
the NBA. I want to try something new, do something else in my life." Read

of the Los Angeles Daily News spoke with Bow Wow at the premiere of his
new movie 'Like Mike' -- a role where he's playing the character, not his
rapper self. "This isn't the type of movie that you're going to see me
playing a Lil' Bow Wow character," he says. "This is the type of movie
you're going to see me play a whole different character because that's
what acting is all about: trying new things and playing different characters."

Ted Casablanca was there for the premiere of 'Like Mike' last week and
asked Lil' Bow Wow what was the best perk of being famous. "The girls,"
he said. When Ted asked if he was getting girls at the age of 15, Bow Wow

July 4, 2002 - 'Like Mike'
star Lil' Bow Wow tells Extra TV that despite his lack of height, he still
has goals to reach the NBA. "I can’t wait until I get to the league," he
boldly said. "I’m going to Duke, and then from Duke I’m going to be the

of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune reviewed Lil' Bow Wow's new film
'Like Mike' giving it good marks. Strickler says Bow Wow "appears relaxed
on the screen, and although the role never tests his dramatic range, he
sells this fantasy by playing it straight. He's living out every teenage
boy's daydream, but he makes it seem almost credible. Teens will come out
of the theater wanting to be like Bow Wow." Read more.

star Gary Payton tells the National Enquirer that Lil' Bow Wow does have
potential to make it in the NBA. "He's got game, he's got potential," he
said. "I'll be retiring just about the time he's ready to come into the
league and he can take my position." Bow Wow has said, "My dream has always
been to play in the NBA, and now it's come true." Well sort of, he does
get to play with NBA stars in his new film 'Like Mike.'
July 3, 2002 - Lil' Bow Wow
chatted with Launch.com about the soundtrack to his new film 'Like Mike'
and working with Fabolous. "It was fun, man," he said. "I'm glad that we
can have Fabolous participate in something like this. Being a part of Like

be stopping by the CBS Early Show on Wednesday to promote his new film
'Like Mike' and play a medley of songs including 'Basketball' and 'Take
Ya Home' in The Early Show Plaza Concert series. Watch the performance

July 2, 2002 - Lil' Bow Wow
has discovered that making movies is a lot different from making music
videos. "Because with the video you don't have to remember things; you
just do it," he tells ephen Schaefer of the Boston Herald. "It's lip-synching,
basically. I was playing a character, definitely a character, which wasn't
hard to do. It was fun. With the movie you got to say it right, look right
and it's a long process. A video is about two or three days and this was

joined 100.3 The Beat host Steve Harvey to talk to 'Like Mike' star Lil'
Bow Wow about the new movie. Unfortunately she didn't ask Steve about breaking
up the Suge Knight and Snoop Dogg near fight when he hosted last week's
BET Awards. They tried to get Bow Wow to freestyle but he wasn't up to
