October 29, 2002 - Lil' Bow
Wow wants everyone to know that he is alcohol free. He credits that to
his upbringing and the fact that he knows that he could not be involved
in all the things he wants to because alcohol would bring him down. He
tells smartandsober.com, "If I were to drink and do stuff like that, I
couldn’t do it. It’s like your whole body would just kind of shut down
and you just couldn’t do it. If you’re going to do anything in life, don’t

28, 2002 - Associated Press reports several concert-goers suffered minor
injuries Saturday night when a railing gave way at the Target Center during
a performance by Lil' Bow Wow. The most serious complaints appeared to
be of lower leg pain and of back pain, according to Reid Katzung, director
of operations. The railing was designed to keep fans from Bow Wow as he
worked his way into the crowd. The railing snapped in three places, causing
fans to fall forward, Katzung said. Bow Wow was not hurt and resumed his

Journal-Constitution reports Lil' Bow Wow and singer Janet Jackson were
spotted with producer Jermaine Dupri braving the Netherworld Haunted House
over the weekend.

reports Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs has collaborated with Brandy and Lil' Bow
Wow on a song for the soundtrack to the upcoming animated movie 'The Wild
Thornberrys.' The track 'Dance With Us' will be one of two singles off
the soundtrack, due November 26, according to a Jive Records spokesperson.

reports Mario, R.O.C. and girl group Denim will open for Lil' Bow Wow in
an extended set of tour stops Bow Wow couldn't reach on his Scream 2 Tour.
The brief tour kicks off October 25th in Cincinnati before wrapping November

reports So So Def imprint owner, Jermaine Dupri is leaving Columbia Records.
Jermaine says, "I’m leaving that situation. It’s a lot of people in the
mix trying to get me aboard at their company -- Def Jam, Arista. I don’t
know where I’m going yet. I should know in about a week though." Lil' Bow
Wow and Jagged Edge won't be coming with him though. "Columbia put up a
ridiculous amount of money for them," he said. "For me to take Bow Wow
and Jagged Edge that really ain’t worth it." Read more.
