July 27, 2003 - WENN reports
Bow Wow is getting a little peeved at fans who ask for his autograph while
he's eating at restaurants. "When I go out, people come up and breathe
all over my food almost every day when I'm trying to eat - and that's one
thing that really irritates me," he admits. "It's like, you've seen me
with my people and you've seen me with my family. I'm not a rude cat, I'll
sign for you, but can you please at least wait until I'm done?"
July
27, 2003 - With Bow Wow's busy schedule, the young rapper tells AllHipHop.com
he's rethinking plans for higher education. "I’ve been having second guesses
on college, because I’m too busy right now," Bow Wow said. "I was thinking
about it. I definitely want to pursue my goals and go to the NBA. So if
I want to go to the NBA, I know I have to go to college." His third album,
'Unleashed', hits stores August 19th. Read more.
July 25, 2003 - Bow Wow will
performed a free concert at New York's Bryant Park on Wednesday. The performance
raised awareness and support for Computers For Youth (CFY), a non-profit
organization which provides home computers to inner-city children. Bow
Wow was introduced by New York City School's Chancellor Joel Klein. In
a statement, the 16-year-old talked about why he got involved: " I don't
take for granted all the blessings that I have, and as soon as I heard
about Computers For Youth I really wanted to be involved. Anyone who knows
me knows how much time I spend on computers. I'm an addict. Every young
person deserves to have a computer in his or her home. It's cool that CFY
will also make sure that they learn how to use them. I can't wait to be
on that stage performing and at the same time supporting Computers For
Youth."
July 23, 2003 - HipOnline
caught up with Lil' Bow Wow for a Q&A ahead of the release of 'Unleashed'.
Bow Wow says, "I had a lot of fun working on this album because I was able
to sit back and take time on the album. I got to write some and it is definitely
one of the best records I’ve done. I was able to sit back and watch how
everything was done. I was able to tell the producers exactly what I wanted
on this album and that is what is so beautiful about 'Unleashed'." Check

July 20, 2003 - Lil' Bow
Wow was featured in a clip on TRL's Backstage Pass on Friday. Here's what
Bow Wow had to say: "Yo, what up? It's your man, Bow Wow, unleashed right
here, baby. I love the ladies, so it's kind of like, you know, it doesn't
bother me at all. I do whatever it takes. I have to give my fans a hug,
but sometimes they sneak a kiss in there. Kind of crazy, so I'm picky.
Picky dude. Like I had maybe a couple of people who are sexy and attractive
and cute. Mya, Beyonce. Oh, here you go [photo of Solange Knowles shown].
She was real cool. A real cool friend of mine. I have known her so long
now. She real cool. I got a Ferrari, Maserati and I have a Mercedes 500.
Sl on 20'S. I got a Range Rover on 22's. I really want to say that, you
know what I mean, there's really no competition on me. Not to be nothing
cocky or anything like that, but there's not another rapper my age who
present right now at the time. If I get it right, which is me and Omarion
and B2k, R&B is like rap. There's enough room for everybody to eat.
I don't consider it competition. All the time when I go out, people come
up to me all over my food, breathing all over my food almost every day
when I'm trying to eat. That really irritates me, like the fact you see
with me people, you see with my family. I'm -- please at least wait, until
I'm done, you know? Sign this up like this. Much love -- that's what it
is right there, baby."
