reports Ludacris has revealed the thinking behind the name of his new album.
"The name of my third album is 'Chicken and Beer',"' he explained. "People
wanna know what I'm all about, and I'm letting you know. Chicken and beer,
man. That's all we consume."
June 23, 2002 - This week's
Entertainment Weekly includes thoughts on the use of cereal in several
recent hip hop videos, including 'Always on Time' by Ja Rule and Ashanti,
'Saturday (Oooh Oooh!)' by Ludacris, 'How Come You Don't Call Me' by Alicia
Keys, and 'Hey Luv (Anything)' by Mobb Deep. On the Ludacris track where
he grabs a box of 'Cocomotion' (actually Froot Loops), director Steve Carr
explained, "We didn't put as much thought into the cereal as we did the
shot of the two chickens doing it doggy style."

(Word of Mouf) at the second annual Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, scheduled
to take place August 9 at the Billboard-American Urban Radio Networks R&B/Hip-Hop
