by MTV's Total Request Live on Wednesday to premiere his new video.
June 12, 2003 - Ludacris
won't be performing at Michigan's Jackson County Fair in August, amid concerns
over his lyrics. The rapper and the fair's manager canceled his planned
August 7th show on Monday, a day before the Fair Board, responding to public
criticism, planned a special meeting to discuss the rapper's performance.
"It was a mutual cancellation. That's all I can say," said Fair manager

June 6, 2003 - Ludacris tells
Launch.com that playing the role of Taj on '2 Fast 2 Furious' wasn't a
real stretch for him. "It wasn't too hard," Ludacris said. "Dude is just
basically a hustler. He's like the street organizer of all the races. Like
he organizes all the races and basically, you know, he's about his money.
He has his garage. People need extra accessories or they need their car
worked on they come to his garage." Read more.

Weekly caught up with Tyrese for a Q&A on his new movie '2 Fast 2 Furious'
and how it came about that he and co-star Ludacris collaborated with R.
Kelly for the soundtrack's 'Pick Up the Phone.' "I told Luda, no way in
hell this soundtrack gonna go by and him and me don't do a record together,"
Tyrese explained. "So I was in Chicago working with R. Kel, and in the
middle of a session I said, 'Yo man, me and Ludacris are putting this soundtrack
together so we need a jump.' That was a big deal for me. I had a chance
to work with the R&B king, and now he's doing my whole next album."
