One Spot'. Upon accepting the honor, Keys told the Miami crowd, "It's about
damn time, you know what I'm talking about? It's about damn time. My first
MTV award. First of all, I've got to think Ebony Sound Management, Jeff
Dixon, got to think Def Jam Records still going strong, shout out to everybody
being a part of the video, LisaRay, Verne Troyer and definitely the legendary
Quincy Jones, Fat Cats the directors of the video. Got to thank my family,
my mother, most importantly God for waking me up to accept this award.
I love y'all, baby. This ain't gonna be the last one. We're just getting
started. Disturbing The Peace. Know that."
