January 20, 2001 - The New York Post reports Mandy Moore was sighted at MTV studios chomping up a box of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

January 15, 2001 - In an interview with Metal-Sludge.com, SR-71 singer Mitch Allan rated Mandy Moore a 9 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being a hottie. Mitch says she'd be a 10 when she's legal.

January 13, 2001 - Mandy Moore is featured here in an ebay autographed magazine cover auction. The photo, item #541250307, is unbid at $5 and ends January 22nd.

January 10, 2001 - Sonicnet reports Mandy Moore is scheduled to release her third album in March. Mandy told the site, "I'm so excited about it because it's not what you might expect."

January 9, 2001 - Mandy Moore introduced Three Doors Down at the 28th Annual American Music Awards Monday night in Los Angeles.

January 8, 2001 - Mandy Moore is shown here with Billy Gilman presenting the favorite musical group or band to *NSYNC at the 27th annual People's Choice Awards in Pasadena on Sunday night.

January 5, 2001 - The day before her MTV New Year's appearance, Mandy Moore revealed on her message boards, "I am sitting home right now, trying to recover from the stomach flu. Gross i know, but i was VERY sick yesterday....but feeling so much better today." Turns out Mandy recovered enough to show up the next day. Great job Mandy!

January 4, 2001 - In an Abstracts.net poll asking if Mandy Moore was your favorite musician, 50.5% of you said yes, while 49.5 percent of the 957 total respondents said no.

January 2, 2001 - Marilyn Manson was on with Carson Daly for MTV New Year's Eve saying that he was wearing his gloves tonight because he wanted to give Mandy Moore a gynocological exam seeing that she's starting to become a woman. The Manson comment prompted fans on her official site's message board to call for a Manson boycott. Carson said she indeed just had her tonsils removed as well.

January 2, 2001 - Mandy Moore helped with the MTV 2001 New Year's show alongside Brian McFayden and later KK Holiday where she's shown in what we wonder is a real or fake fur coat, plus later in the evening she said something to the effect, "happy New Year's baby. I miss you"... Wonder who the 'baby' is?
