Moore gave her thoughts on working with Adam Shankman in 'A Walk To Remember'
when posed the question on her official site's message board Sunday. Mandy
said, "Adam gave me an oppurtunity to do something that most people would
not have even thought of. He could be one of most passionate, honest, hard-working.
and loving people I have ever met in my 17 years. He helped me a great
deal with 'Walk...' and I would absolutely love to work with him again.
We had the best time ever in shooting Wilmington, and even to this day,
we are still good friends."

23, 2002 - Mandy Moore told fans on her official site's message board news
that she'll be appearing in an upcoming Elton John video entitled, 'Original
Sin'. Mandy gushed, "Words cannot desribe how I feel right now. Well, I
wouldn't go that far because right now I am feeling a bit under the weather....
But, late last night, or rather, early this morning I completed work on
the new David Lachapelle directed Elton John video 'Original Sin'. I was

Moore gave fans on her message board the scoop earlier and now Variety
confirms the 'Try Seventeen' lineup that will include Moore, Elijah Wood,
and Franka Potente. The film is being put out by Millennium Films and will
begin shooting in March where Jeffrey Porter will direct the script written
by Charles Kephart.

Wadowski of UniverCity spoke with Mandy Moore about how success has had
an impact on her personal life, especially when it comes to her childhood
friends. Mandy admits, "Your circle of friends obviously gets smaller when
you enter something like this, and I’m still struggling to find out who
my true friends are and who really cares about me. I believe that time
heals all wounds though and will tell the truth about everything." Read

reports following the success of 'A Walk to Remember', Mandy Moore has
been offered the lead role in the upcoming teen flick 'How to Deal. The
film is based on the young adult novels 'Someone Like You' and 'That Summer'
and is scheduled to begin shooting this summer. Earlier this week Mandy
had revealed she'll be doing an independent film called 'Try Seventeen'
with Elijah Wood. Since that begins filming in March, a summer filming
of the 'How to Deal' role is certainly possible.

has a special feature on music stars turned film stars with comments on
Britney Spears, Aaliyah, Mandy Moore, Beyonce Knowles of Destiny's Child,
Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, the Spice Girls, and Christina

Moore posted an update on her message board last night to reveal her shock
over the success of 'A Walk To Remember' and insisted that she's not dating
co-star Shane West. After wishing the couple and singles a happy Valentine's
Day, Mandy broke news that she'll be starring in an independant film called
'Try Seventeen' with Elijah Wood. Mandy said filming will begin next month.
She also announced plans for a new video, but said fans would have to wait

Moore responded to compliments from a fan who initially admitted to finding
her sound and dancing routines in 'Candy' to be annoying to begin with
but she's slowly learned to like the singer after her latest album and
after watching 'A Walk to Remember'. Mandy responded, "Wow... that is the
ultimate compliment!! Thanks guys. You made my day. Hehe. I think I still
make fun of myself for 'Candy'. Don't get the wrong impression though,
the dancing and all was a bit um, not me. Thanks for sticking with me."

spoke with Mandy Moore about how she'll be celebrating Valentine's Day
now that she's broken up with actor Wilmer Valderrama. Mandy said, "Well,
I'm 17, and I haven't had a truly romantic Valentine's Day. I have so many
years down the road to have those romantic Valentine's Days. I'm not worried
about it." Meanwhile, Alex Greenwald, lead singer of fellow Sony artist
Phantom Planet admitted, "[Mandy's] intelligent, super-young. It's not
really a crush actualized, but I think she's really cute, has a good energy,
and she's vibrant."

Moore told fans why she's such a huge fan of actress and singer Bette Midler
on her official site's message board today saying, "Yes, I love Bette Midler
because she appeared on an episode of the Simpsons!! Well, that and for
basically her whole career (music, tv, film, broadway -- everything I hope
to accomplish one day). Plus, Beaches is one of my all-time favorite movies."

Moore gave comfort to a fan on her official site's message board who's
mother is sufferring from an agressive form of cancer. She and her mother
went to see Mandy's film which touches on the same disease and Mandy offerred
the advice, "Wow. as someone mentioned earlier in this post, I have never
been faced with anything like this before and don't quite know what to
say, except that you and your family will be in my prayers and thoughts.
We are all here for you. Try and find the positive in life like Jamie did,
even when faced in the most difficult situations. Maybe this journey never
ends."

Moore was asked on her official site's message board what she feels about
people who have made fan sites about her and which is her favorite. Mandy
said, "Wow! That is a very good question. Hmmm.. I could never pick a favorite.
I just can't comprehend that anyone would ever dedicate their time to create
these websites about me. Me??? It's too wierd but flattering. It is the
ultimate compliment and most are so fantasically done!!! It definitely
makes my day and makes me giggle to see all the my goofy pics from the
early days lol!!! Thank you to anyone who has devoted their time to a fansite!
You rock."

spoke with Mandy Moore about her style and makeup favorites. Mandy said
her favorite brands were "Seven jeans, and tees, cashmere sweaters and
jeans from Juicy." As for what she wears at home, Mandy admitted, "Baggy
shirts, sweat pants, and socks."

from KISS 92's Mad-Dog and Billie spoke with Mandy Moore before the release
of 'A Walk To Remember' last month and their chat was just put up on the
station's website. Mandy talked about the film, her makeup for the role,
her song 'Cry', the AMA after-party, the Britney Spears & Christina

Interestingly, she did talk about dating Wilmer and did say she was in
love with the actor, only days before she was to break up with him and
later claim she'd never been in love.

Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times profiled the recent run of music stars
heading to film and centered on Britney Spears' stab at the trade with
this weekend's release of 'Crossroads.' Director Ann Carli told Goldstein
she hung out at a Los Angeles theater to ask fans leaving Mandy Moore starring
'A Walk To Remember' if they planned on seeing Britney's film. "I was so
relieved to hear most of them wanted to go. You can interpret tracking
information in a million different ways. I just wanted to ground myself

fan posted her experience with Mandy Moore this morning outside the taping
of Live With Regis & Kelly. Mandy apparently didn't sign the fans autograph
and didn't acknowledge fans leaving many upset. Mandy told the fan, "Hmmm
I read your message sweetie and I must say I am beyond upset. It sucks
that few people ruin it for everyone. This morning when i first arrived
at Regis and Kelly, we were late and had to rush to soundcheck. I couldn't
sign for the ebayers (not that I would have because of all the previous
drama) and one them cussed me out and then said 'I hope your movie fails'.
So naturally, on the way out (we were going to a breakfast meeting from
there), we walked straight to the car to avoid the mean ebayers. Had I
known you were there sweetie, I would have loved to have stopped and said
hello. I feel terrible that you had the impression of me from this morning,

a lisp after some talk that she did. Mandy replied saying, "Lisp? Nope,
I over pronounce my S's sometimes and it sounds like... well I dunno. But
I can assure you... I don't have a lisp... sorry. Not that it is a bad
thing."

Moore was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday night to perform 'Cry'
and she talked with Jay afterwards about 'A Walk To Remember'. When Mandy
got seated, she accidently rubbed her nose up against Bernie Mac's face.
The actor had a lot of brown makeup on that smudged on Mandy's nose. Jay

Moore talked with AP radio about her switch from blond to brunette in 'A
Walk to Remember.' Mandy said, "I think people could not disassociate me
with the character if I'd kept the blond hair. People would have looked
on screen and said, 'Oh, that's that pop singer Mandy Moore.'"

Tonight spoke with Entertainment Weekly writer Dave Karger for his predictions
on the new Britney Spears movie 'Crossroads'. Karger gave a positive outlook
while taking a shot at pop rival Mandy Moore, "If Mandy Moore can make
12 million dollars for 'A Walk to Remember' (in its opening weekend), 'Crossroads'

Moore responded to a fans question about how she feels when she meets celebrities
and that she doesn't consider herself one. Mandy said, "I am still in awww
when around anyone really... I am such a fan of so many people that when
I am faced with them, I clam up. I get very nervous.... hehe."

Lee of Straits Times was on hand at the MTV Asia awards in Singapore Saturday
and was left less than impressed with the affair. Lee said of Mandy Moore's
teleprompter helped hosting job, "What was supposed to be a series of witticisms
exchanged between hosts Mandy Moore and Ronan Keating as well as between
the various presenters of the awards was revealed to the live audience

on the East coast), and Jay's second guest will be Mandy Moore. Mandy will

Moore of the Orlando Sentinel spoke with Mandy Moore about her movie 'A
Walk To Remember' where the singer revealed the movie's director Adam Shankman
decided Mandy shouldn't talk to the other members of the cast and crew
to be more like her character. Mandy admits, "So everyone's coming up to
me and going, 'Hey, Mandy. It's really nice to meet you!' And I just go,
'Hi.' Didn't talk at all. And they'd be going, to Adam, 'I'd heard all
these cool things about Mandy Moore, but she's really not a very nice person.'"
