time about her shiny green dress worn for last night's awards ceremonies
where she won the Young Hero Award for Entertainment from Big Brother/Big
Sister organization. Mandy said, "Thanks for your honesty... lol. Geeez.
I happen to love the dress. I felt elegant and mature (not that I have
to justify my reasons for wearing it you guys... but nonetheless). I think
those pictures are terrible however.... Yeeeeesh. And yes my hair is brown
and it has just grown out a bit while filming 'Saved'." Check out the photos
and fan comments here.

the suggestion." Read more.

November 20, 2002 - Mandy
Moore was asked on her official site's Rumor Mill if she planned on touring
in support of her next album. "I will definitely tour on the next album,"
Moore responded. "There's a lot that goes into touring and it just hasn't
been right on the last two records. I really need the time to put a show
together, give a fan everything they pay for etc. I have been really spread
thin with movies and music and, to be honest, haven't felt that I could
give it my all due to time constraints. This time will be different." Check
out more answered rumors here.
November 20, 2002 - Mandy
Moore checked in with fans on her message board earlier today for the first
time in awhile, though she says she's been lurking on the forums. "Ok,
ok... lol. You caught me. I'm here. In fact, I've been here for the past
10 day reading your posts -- just not responding," Moore said. "You guys
are too funny -- I have to say. It's been a rather intense past few months
and I'm sure a brief period of rest and relaxation it's quite understandable
to most of you. Although I've still been working (recording) for the past
few days, I have also just been sleeping in, going to the movies, shopping
for lots and lots of music, planning a sky diving excursion, laughing my
arse of at comedy clubs, driving my car, and most importantly, spending
quality time with friends and family (boyfriend included... which is very
nice). Who needs work when one has the option of not working? lol... I
promise to work on my lazy tendencies and start working soon.... lol."

November 20, 2002 - Angela627,
moderator on Mandy Moore's official forum, put together some digitally
altered photos of the singer and her boyfriend Andy Roddick, since finding
photos of the pair have been hard to come by. Mandy saw the pictures and

lol... Although you are uber-creative and we both thought they were rather
funny. You never cease to surprise me... lol." Check out the doctored pictures

I've been the dumper," he admits. The two see each other as much as possible,

they can."
November 11, 2002 - In a
conversation in the new ElleGirl magazine, Mandy Moore and Kelly Osbourne
shared a story about flirting, where Kelly recalled, "Yeah, and my friend-who's
really hot-was hitting on you. he goes, 'You look bored' and you go, 'Yeah,
I'm really bored. Bored of talking to you!'" Some fans thought it was a
mean remark, and Mandy explained to Kelly, "I mean, if you are going to
flirt with someone, you shouldn't say, 'You look bored.' So I just shot
it right back at him." So is Mandy a meanie? She told fans on her official
forum, "Of course this was going to be turned in to something it shouldn't
have been. The whole article is us having fun and being goofs. Don't take
anything to heart... Cause I sure didn't lol." Read more.
November 9, 2002 - Earlier
this month Mandy Moore apparently posted a message to fans about the controversial
Michael Moore film 'Bowling for Columbine'. The film which takes a critical
look at right wing gun activists is a hit with those who want stricter
gun control, but perhaps Sony Music thought the subject was too weighty
for Mandy to comment on or to recommend the film, as the post appears to
have been pulled (it shows up under a search under Messages to Fans, but
gives a 404 error when clicked). If anyone is aware what Mandy posted about
the film, please post a comment. The movie's official website includes
four clips from the film, including the extremely funny 'A Brief History
Of America' -- check that out here.

"We managed to score some great seats and I didn't wanna pass that up.
It wasn't as fun as a Magic game, but I still enjoyed myself."
November 9, 2002 - A Mandy

November 7, 2002 - Mandy
Moore was asked by a fan on her official forum how she liked working with
Macaulay Culkin, Jena Malone, and Heather Matarazzo on the film 'Saved'.
Mandy said, "All three of the mentioned are some of my favorite people
ever. They are beyond talented and professional and I would make another
film with in a heartbeat."
November 7, 2002 - Mandy
Moore responded to the scan of her article in Seventeen magazine that referred
multiple times to her boyfriend as tennis star Andy Reddish, instead of
his real name, Andy Roddick. Mandy said, "This is the biggest 'wtf' ever!
Where do they get this stuff? Hehe. Although, Andy and I can't stop laughing
about it." Read more.
November 4, 2002 - ShockYourMind.org
has scans of Mandy Moore on the September issue of Bliss magazine. Mandy
tells the magazine, "I used to quite like bad boys. It's that instant attraction
thing, knowing that there's always going to be the chasing 'cause he's
not completely attainable, and that's always going to keep you interested.
Now though, I'd prefer someone who's honest and genuine, rather than someone
who's going to emotionally exhaust me because I can't figure him out."
Check out the cover feature here.
November 1, 2002 - Mandy
Moore exposed the ongoing fraud of some dilusional fans claiming to have
an "official" Mandy message
board with details on the singer's new album. Mandy said, "Hahaha!!
That has to be one of the funniest posts I have ever read on the board.
'Adelaide's Lament'? 'From Guys and Dolls'. Sure, you guys know I love
my musical theatre and I have definite aspirations to make to Broadway,
but don't expect any of it on a regular album. None of what is written
below is true. I had recorded one song, and one song only thus far. When
I return home in the next few days, I will begin recording 3 new songs.
I can't wait actually! Also, I am working with only one producer this time.
Sadly, there is no Gregg Alexander involved or release date planned. Trust
me enough to keep you guys up to date with everything that happens, not
some silly info form the internet lol." Sensing his gig was up, Red Hot
Boom Mandy claimed that the person posting as Mandy on her official site
isn't really her. Read more.
