December 29, 2003 - Mandy
Moore posted a Happy Holiday's message to fans on her official forum on
Christmas Day (December 25). Mandy writes, "Wow... I can't believe it's
actually Christmas Day. I'm bummed that I never seemed to get in to the
spirit of the holidays this year -- the first time. :( Big boo. Well, I
sit here writing to you from my humble home with my pug dexter in my lap
(who, by the way is in his red 'Santa' t-shirt and farting a bunch hehe).
I'm so happy to have spent the day with my family, friends and the dogs.
I'm wishing you and your family nothing but the best during the holidays
-- enjoy and be safe." Read more.

writes "Mandy Moore and Andy Roddick looked as happy as ever last night
as they snuggled courtside at a basketball game in Miami on Saturday (December
27). They were watching the Miami Heat take on the New York Knicks, and
both of them were cleary Miami Heat fans. At one point during the game,
a fight between players broke out right in front of them. Mandy grabbed
on to Andy, and they both started laughing when it was over! Check out
a photo of the couple watching the game at Yahoo."

Moore tells Cosmopolitan magazine in their January issue that she's gained
a fondness for clothes that show off her curvy, 5-foot-10-inch frame. "By
no means would I ever want to strip off my clothes or do anything extreme
but I'm beginning to gravitate toward more sophisticated looks," Moore
said. "My body is changing. I just got boobs, and now I have hips. I'm
like a size 6 or 8 now, and I like the way I look; I'm proud of it." Read

December 15, 2003 - Rashod
D. Ollison of The Baltimore Sun weighed in on some of the worst music from
2003, including offerings from 'American Idol' stars Kelly Clarkson and
Clay Aiken, Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson, and Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees.
On Moore's 'Coverage', he remarked, "The result isn't awful, but the project
is completely unnecessary because Moore, who is in no way a stylist, does
nothing fresh with the evergreens." As for Simpson's 'In This Skin', he
says, "She's not a bad singer, by the way. Her material just goes nowhere."

December 10, 2003 - meteora
writes "What comes to mind when you think about Mandy Moore? Innocence?
Talent? What else? You know, I respect Mandy so much and I also love her,
even though her voice is not very powerful, I still think that Mandy is
one of a kind celebrity. Countless performers such as Britney Spears, Christina
Aguilera, Jewel, and Jessica Simpson have changed their image to a more
extreme one. Sexy makeout videos, showing more skin off, that's what all
of them do to sell albums or bring media attention towards themselves.
And I am not trying to judge them. But Mandy Moore remains the same. Wow,
what an artist, I am sure many of you respect her for that. She is also
a nice person, at least she looks like one. And what an actress she is!
You can't compare her acting abilities to other artists who tried to persue
an acting career (Britney Spears and Mariah Carey) but failed. Mandy Moore
respects herself too much to kiss with another woman on public, she doesn't
need publicity stunts to increase her popularity. Yes, her albums may not
sell as well as Christina's or Britney's, but she is herself, and I respect
her for having some dignity within herself. If her singing career fails,
she can always act, and we all know that her status as an actress is strong
among Hollywood. I definitely hope that she will remain the same, and never
sell out."
December 7, 2003 - Choosing
to keep her private life private, Mandy Moore had been dating tennis superstar
Andy Roddick for eight months before the paparazzi lens focused in on them.
"I don't want to hide something that I'm really happy about," she tells
Ann Curry of Dateline NBC. "But it comes to the point now, where people
are like, so what are your pet names for each other? What's the most romantic
thing you have done for one another? And I stop and think, well should
I be asking you the same questions? That is really not anyone's business."
